Yum Brands owns a few food chains like KFC, Pizza Hut, and TBell.
Technically, it's Yum! Brands.
I know this because I read an article a while back about the genius executive who insisted on the exclamation point as part of a comprehensive rebranding scheme. That exclamation point is part of why he gets paid the big $$$.
That being said, the Economist isn't having it:

We'll still need to use at least one of those spots for a replacement big man. Hopefully Siva gets the other.
Siva is officially a Piston today.

Cool! I like the kid.
Joe freed up a spot for Siva.
I love the source:

I always think of Peyton Manning when I people write out his first name.
I keep calling him Silva. I'm not sure I knew what his first name was until the last 2 posts.

Needs D-league experience when we get Bynum and Chauncey back.
Yeah it will be awhile before we will be able to call the Palace > Peyton's Place...
I hope the kid is saving his money. He should thank Joe D for making sure he got a decent job paying about $500K ($300 after taxes) right out of college. He should be able to save about $200K this year, giving him enough money to start an IRA and put a down payment on his first home whenever he's ready to buy one before he either (a) heads overseas to earn $75K/yr playing ball, (b) heads off to the workforce, or (c) goes back to grad school; because (unfortunately) I don't think the kid has NBA talent.
I agree. He just seems really over-matched physically and athletically. He has a good head on his shoulders, but didn't win the genetic lottery well enough to stay. Even when he was able to drive and score last night it looked like he had to use 110% of his ability and get lucky. He made it though and can always tell his kids he was an NBAer.
He should be shooting, even though it will probably be at a low percentage... just in case he gets lucky. Without establishing his shot, he's not going to be able to feed the bigs like Bynum does.
In the NCAA championship game...he was 6-15 from the floor with 18 pts and 6 assists. Pretty much took control of the game midway through the second half scoring 6 straight points and feeding that 3pt shooter that buried the Wolverines. In other words another Mateen type championship effort that gets you drafted. Joe knew it was a project and Peyton Place is only getting the PT because we are short handed.
He has the advantage of being a lot taller than Bynum so maybe he should post up some of the smaller point guards.
Pepe Sanchez lasted for 3 years...
I think Siva has been overdribbling.
