Suns' Booker scores 70 in loss to Celtics Devin Booker>Stanley Johnson.
Crazy outburst. And yeah, if Stanley dropped 70, I'd be a little exited about our team going forward.
I just looked at that box score. 84 FTs? What the hell? Sounds like a reffing botch job.
Definitely the most worthless 70 point effort in history. They were down 22-3 to start the game and trailed by 20+ for the entire game. At the end, they were intentionally fouling every possession so that they could get the ball back to boost his point total. About 50% of the foul calls that he drew appeared to be legitimate. 70 points in the loss and was -6 for the game. 19 points in the last 2 minutes of garbage time by intentionally fouling the victor multiple times to chase stats. Everybody on the team actually chose to participate in this photo? The coach had no problem with it? At least it was a team accomplishment in that they all put forth the specific effort to get him as many shots as possible.
Chandler and Bledsoe in a towel despite not having played a single minute in the game.
What a perfect tanking job. They sit 3 key players, they boost interest in a young player, and they still secure the loss.
Brandon Knight looks to be in great shape...
Yeah, they all do. I guess working out everyday may have some effect.
I didn't think BK was sweating much recently...
I like how the table shows how many days old he is for each game.
We could have used him and Chandler during all those DNP days that they both logged. May have transferred into 2 victories....maybe over the Nets and Raptors? Then again the dark side of the force with this team..
The Season Highlight for their so called new franchise player.
Robinson's 70 was bogus too as there was similar stunts at the end and he was chasing the scoring title. No Barry Sanders in these guys.
Just watched the Clippers possibly throw away their season when they allowed the Sac Kings to outscore them 22-3 over the last 5 minutes. The Clippers settled on watching Paul Pierce and Jamal Crawford throw up jumper after jumper and put up no defense to the Kings. They look just like the Pistons who let the Raptors outscore them by 20 to close that game a couple of weeks ago. Blame Doc Rivers for not calling a time out until the lead had gone from 18 to 3....because he thought the clock was on their side? The bench refuses to go into the paint ....(just like the Pistons) and they settle on jumpers. Even the starters came back in, still no paint action with CP3 and Doc jr passing the ball around the perimeter. I had partially given up the Pistons getting to playoffs, now it looks like I will have to give up on the Clippers getting to the second around...again. Final score Kings 98- Clippers 97.
So the Kings are better without Cousins?
Isn't Paul Pierce like 60 years old now?
Down goes MIA. 1 game out now with a chance to cut to 0.5 tomorrow.
18 point lead, second game of a back to back...5 minutes left game...put in Pierce to shake off some rust and practice his shooting range.....all five shots outside the paint, 1-5, 0-2 from deep. Yesterday, Crawford was instrumental in stretching a 5 point lead to 20 in 5 minutes on their way to a 13 point win over the Jazz with 28 points. He is 37 years ....he can't be expected to have to same lift in his legs to hoist 12 jumpers the next day. Doc should know that by now. In other games, the Heat fall to the Celtics but we are still 1 game behind them. Just think if we had those losses to the Magic and Nets back, we would own the 8th spot and the chance to play the Celtics in the first round would be a possibility....since they have now tied the Cavs.
Remember when you turned 60 the first time?
The first time for me was 2014....
