Amir had 2 less blocks tonight than Wilcox has had in the entire season.

    AJ:
    8/10/2/1/7

Billups made 1 more free throw tonight than Ben Wallace has made in the entire season.

    Billups with:
30 points, 6 rebs, 6 asts, 1 steal. (18 of 20 from the FT line!)

And Memphis beat San Antonio. Shane Battier effect?

Heat blow a 73-49 lead...yep a 24 pt lead midway through the third qtr....

Boy was Bosh mad at the end slamming the rock to the floor

    Bibby 19 mins..3 pts 3 brds and 1 assist

Heat continue to lose to teams with top tier point guards....can we find one for next season??

Two big comebacks by the Magic this week, one over the Knicks and now one over the heat

Wish I had seen this game. The Magic caught up with the heat with a 40-9 run!

Ít was raining threes like never before while the Heat couldn't hit a shot. J-Rich couldn't miss for a while. Talk about change of events, the Heat looked unstoppable in the first half with the big 2 scoring close to 50p. I think they had 10 or something like that in the second.

Denver is a nice story, they won tonight again and I think they are 4-1 after the Melo trade. They are climbing instead of losing their PO spot. I'm rooting for Denver and NO in the west right now!

Alflollo with the winning key three in the end of that game. Joe must be choking himself for giving away CB and Alf. Obviously he and his talent evaluator/advisor missed the boat of Alf,:gaah:

The Spurs are blazing. Tearing it up, beating up on the league, man. ESPN can only talk about the Heat. Nonsense, Spurs by 30, that's the story.

They should be talking about Chicago too. Nice dismantling of the Magic last night. The big Magic midseason trade is starting to smell like yesterday's fish.

P.S. The Bulls must have the league's worst broadcast team. Somebody should just make Stacy King stop. Red must be rolling over wherever he is.

Chicago on a roll with beating the Heat on the road. And that's with the Heat's big three all having decent games. Nobody else showed up though, and in the end the Bulls won playing 5-3.

Right now the Heat's record against the top teams (LAL, SAS, OKC, Dallas, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, NYK, Chicago) is 6-13.

Against Boston: 0-3 (one game remaining)
    Against Orlando: 2-2
Against Atlanta: 1-1 (two games remaining)
    Against Knicks: 1-2
    Against Chicago: 0-3
Against LAL: 1-0 (one game remaining)
Against OKC: 1-0 (one game remaining)
    Against Dallas: 0-2
Against SAS: 0-1 (one game remaining)

Along with Greg Monroe's play, the Heat's flops have been the most enjoyable part of this season.

If this keeps up, Pat Riley might be coaching in the post season.

Hey did anybody else see Carlos Arroyo hanging around in a suit after the game?? The Heat released him after they signed Bibby.....guess he is just a fan now and has no where else to go?

Meanwhile Lakers are doing to the Spurs, what the Spurs did to the Heat on Friday ....with a 27 point lead in the first half...

Chalmers showed up with a game tying 3-pointer and a go-away one-on-one move resulting in a layup on the next possession.

They showed a stat at the end of the game: the Heat are 1-14 shooting in the last 10 seconds of games this year with a chance to tie or take the lead. They missed two more in this one on the final possession, so now they are 1-16. .063 shooting in the real crunch time! Of course, they've probably been fouled a hundred times, so they have that going for them.

My OTHER team...the beleaguered LA Clippers win their 4th in row, this time beating the Celtics in Boston.... They lead by 23 midway through the second qtr before the Celts trimmed it down to 3 a couple of times before holding on for a 108-103 win. Blake was unspectacular with 12-7-5, but De Andre Jordon was 9 for 10 from the field including 8 dunks... Mo (I miss Lebron) Williams chipped in 28

Reggie Evans back to his old self. 16 rebounds and 0 shot attempts.

Also, Kevin Love goes for his bazillionth Double Double while nobody on the Jazz gets one.

Ty Lawson showing Raymond Felton who's boss at the point for the Nuggs last night.

20&11 for Ty in 36 min vs 5&6 for Ray in 34 min.

What a backup PG Felton would be!

The Nuggs might be a better team now than they were before... mostly because they are getting healthy. These guys could go a round or two.

I think it might settle in like this...

    Felton/ Lawson
    Afflalo/ JR Smith/ Forbes
    Chandler/ Gallinari
    Andersen/ KMart/ Harrington
    Nene/ Mozgov-Koufos?

Could possibly be the best starting defensive 5 in the league if they chose to pursue that route.

Ty Lawson and Raymond Felton are a tough combo.

When was the last time a PG and their back up both put up a double double in the same game?

    Tonight:
    Ty with 23 and 10 (8-13 shooting)
    Felt with 22 and 12 (7-12 shooting)

Forbes only played 5 minutes, then they went with a double PG lineup for most of the game.

    Chauncey who?

Nuggets become the first team in history to make at least 17 threes in back to back games. the players credited the PG's for driving and kicking.

Nuggets, my new pick for Western Conference rep in 2011 finals.

The ultimate NBA upset, Nuggets and Knicks meet in the finals.....media would make the Knicks the feel good prohibitive favorite for getting through both the Bulls and Celtics ,.....and the Nuggets would be underdog because they took out an old beat up Laker team..

How nice wouldn't it be if the Knicks lost to the Nuggets with the Melo trade fresh? Now that would be a PO to remember.

Heat return the favor of 10 days ago by beating the Spurs by 30...ironic that two teams who only play each other twice both win by 30 on their home courts.

Should we be worried about the Spurs peaking to soon after getting blown out by the Heat and Lakers this past 10 days? Or is Popovich having his team coast to the end against the big boys.

They are 6.5 games ahead of the Lakers and Mavs for the #1 seed in the west.
