That was the year Dre's technicals were at the highest.
His FG and FT % too. You say you want him to play hard.
The line was added in 1979-80, which happened to be Larry Bird's rookie season. Chris Ford, a Celtic, made the first three on October 12, 1979. Larry Legend was 0-for-1 from distance that game.
If Sheed was a good coach, he'd still be around. Sheed was never the poster child for playing hard.
He didn't have to. He was a cerebral player. However, he played "hard" when he needed to. By the way, he knows the game better than SVG and a tirade of mediocre Pistons coaches who had the undeserved privilege to be on the wheel of our great Pistons machine.
5-7 yr old before Jordan arrived. many hadn't figured it out, league wide. yet the math was done.
Undeserved privilege? What does that even mean? I think I'm done with this board, you guys are sounding like a bunch of bitter old men living in the past.
Last time I checked, privilege is a special right granted to a person or group of people, like being a member of this great forum for example. Do you deserve it or not, it's a different story.
I like the Pistons. Go Pistons.
Take your negativity elsewhere.
You can either like the Pistons or don't like the Pistons, but there is no room for any of your advanced 'cheering' metrics.
Oh uh, someone speaking well of The Switch. That could make anyone snap. Haha, I used to get so angry when the GTW crew would brag about The Switch. They had too many comeback series to really have a firm grasp on The Switch.
