Joe wouldn't view him as a threat to his job?

As long as Lindsey Hunter is being considered...
Joe needs to rig-up this dude's agent and set up an interview.

There isn't anyone who has been mentioned that I'm truly excited about other than BILL LAIMBEER.
I "could live" with coach Nate but do you really want a guy you "can live with" to be coaching your favorite team?

Look, I've made it clear that I think Herb Brown is the man for the job. Whether we can lure Herb out of retirement remains to be seen.

In other words, I want an experienced coach. I think Lindsey Hunter is getting a courtesy interview. Too young and inexperienced.

So Nate McMillan will be our next coach then. No way JD goes with Hunter (buddy and inexperienced) due to his Curry fiasco.

Perhaps another take. Never underestimate the ambiance of close association (economic, social, cultural, etc.). Gores is by-product. Forget origin.
A coach may not be quickly chosen, since there might be other associations. Gores is not Gilbert and notice the latter's last association.

In a higher association world, you bring along your made reality. You have to out-do your hired help (players-shareholders) and the only way to forcefully express this role playing is with wholesale agenda setting. Machiavelli would call it a clean cut.
