It's a good offer and a very fair trade from both sides. It's just a matter of which stats Coach Rufus is looking for. In this case, the Squirrels are in need of dimes more than blocks, boards and points. I actually think that Josh Smith is gonna have a much better year than D-Williams due to the fact that he's in a contract year and is gonna wanna get paid next summer. I think his scoring is going to go way up with Joe Johnson no longer around. Smith could easily be a top 4 guy this year. Not sure what happened. All I know is that I hit the "no thanks" button and all of the sudden I got a message saying that the trade will go down on Nov 5th. I haven't checked today but I think I'm still getting that message.
It no longer shows up as pending and on the transactions list it shows "trade vetoed". So *I think* we're good.
Deron Williams thanks you. He enjoys the "perks" of being a Squirrel. ...including 1/2 off cover charge to PT's Showclub on Evans Ave. Where the pitchers of PBR are bottomless and so are the ladies.
I didn't check the league set up from the get go, so going forward all of the trade reviews are up to the players. I have no power over the trades.
The Schedule makers hate me as much as they Hate the Pistons... Looking at the standing this morning the top 4 teams in the league are the first 4 teams I play this year..... and most my best players on the bench with injuries...... HELP
Taps the Mic.... anybody here? anybody looking for a bench player that could be a star down the line once they return look at my team and make me an offer.... to many starters that have yet to play a game this year....
Tried to fill every stat box and have lost matchups 3-5 4-4, 4-5,4-5, 3-6.so far. Decided not to invest to my weakest link (assist) anymore and boosted other stats...leading 6-3 and winning. Therefore dropped "out indefinitely" John Wall from my injury -riddled bench and added some 3pt shots...
...thanks for John Wall man! That's like somebody handing me and extra 4o points and 20 asst per week compared to Kyle Singleton.
So basically, if Mike Dunleavy hits that layup in the 2nd quarter against Kyle Singler on Friday night, you guys win. ...ouch.
This place is quiet. Has Rufus Henry been locked up for a while? As a side note, this is the second week straight I did not set my roster before the deadline. Hope my opponent enjoys the victory.
What this league lacks in banter, it more than makes up for in competitiveness. Any one of the top-8 teams could win this thing. Two weeks ago, I think I went from 8th place all the way up to 2nd. My team is fool's gold though. I'm pretty average in all categories and not what I would call 'solid' in any one area. Walter has built himself quite a ball club.
I'm enjoying this league - as BDL says, it really is wide open. Did we manage to sort out the play-off cut?
Looks like it. We got 6 teams going to the playoffs and 4 weeks of regular season left (including this week).
Let the finals begin. This will probably be my last Novice season, so I'm hoping to score a W and go out on top. I also am in the final for Advanced. Managing both squads this year was a bit more maintenance than I liked. Good luck to Moogs...
I made the finals the way I like to do it, by autodrafting and not making a single pickup. Good luck!
Missed the finals by one turnover or a couple blocks. This is what happens when you don't check your lineup and your entire starting froncourt (Noah, Vucevic, World Peace) is injured. Good luck fellas! ...and thanks to Mik for commishin'.
