Hi guys, I am planning on seeing a game at Heinz field this season. Was hoping to get some opinions/feedback on seating in general for NFL games. I am tossing up between these 2 sections, but not sure if its better to be higher up to get a better view, or whether the lower seats still offer a good overall view of the field. In the lower section I would be near the top and in the upper section I would be in the first few rows. http://seatdata.com/images/nfl_steelers/800x600/513.jpg http://seatdata.com/images/nfl_steelers/800x600/238.jpg
Haven't been to Heinz, but I have been to the Silverdome and Ford Field many times. If money was no object, I would take the lower section. In general, getting closer to the 50-yard line is better and getting closer to the field is better.
Those low seats are definitely not too low. I think they look great. The higherup seats are probably good, too, but if the price difference isn't prohibitive, I would strongly consider springing for the lower ones.
Thanks guys. I also have the option to sit right on the 50 about 6 rows back in the Upper. http://seatdata.com/images/nfl_steelers/800x600/535.jpg http://pittsburghskyline.com/images/01.2010/jan_2010_pittsburghskyline.com_08.jpg The price of each ticket is about the same. I think I'm leaning towards this one as its right in the middle of the field, and I get a good view of the whole ground + Pittsburgh skyline. It will be the Monday night game vs Chiefs so should be quite a view.
