Supreme Court: NFL 32 teams, not one entity - ESPN
You dont want to get me started on antitrust... LOL
Who do you think came to my mind when I was reading this article?
- I wonder were common sense fits in. And monopolistic practices hold sway in. Fair trade. I could see some conditions being allowed as the teams are under one roof. But this is the kind of insular collusion I hate. It's like "baseball guys" saying don't rat on the family. But the family is cheating. "roids" They want to intimidate the individual so they can break the law.
Lions come in at #28. What??? Not #32??? Ranking every NFL franchise from 1 to 32
You don't have to worry about your former team. Just go back to your Eagles and let us TRUE fans enjoy our rapid assent up the bottom 3rd of the league!
LOL. Eagles 6th best! Hey, I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Lions. I hope they win every game this year except the home game on September 19th (I plan to be there to watch that one in person).
I still feel like I'm in the twilight zone reading Darth's pro-Eagles posts. Then again he does like the Phillies so I guess it makes sense - at least as much sense as Darth could possibly make!!
That was totally uncalled for. I'm reporting this inflammatory post to Rascoe/Bosco and you are going to be in big big trouble Buddy. You are messing with the wrong guy/team. Just wait until September 19th and we will see who is laughing loudest.
Don't worry about Darth. He's harmless (Toothless?) He also likes Tampa Bay (the Lightning). For a guy who lives in Idaho, he doesn't even know where St.Louis is. He likes teams East of the Mississippi (wherever that is.)
I also have it on good authority that he wears women's undergarments.
It's pretty sad when somebody has to resort to quoting Woody in order to make their point. Speaking of men wearing women's undargarments...where is Rascoe, anyhow? Shouldn't you be banned to the NBDL by now, CJ?
Roscoe doesn't mess with Tibetan horsemen.
It's so wonderful to wake up in the morning, and to be brought to tears by you guys. Tears of laughter at least.
Was getting worried about you. Knowing we brought a little joy and laughter to your hectic day, even by being makes me
Okay now stop messing with Tater! Everyone is entitled to choose teams of their heart and the truth be told, just having your loyalty depend on where you live geographically doesn't show that much intelligence or cognitive discretion as a sports fan anyway. Take me for instance! I grew up in Indiana, near Chicago. I should be a Chicago Bears and Bulls fan and Indianapolis Colts fan but I am So not. I'm a St. Louis Cardinals fan (I liked their uniforms when I was a kid and I still do) and a Detroit Pistons fan. I fell in love with the Pistons and I wasn't raised genetically or geographically to love them and I may never see them play in the Palace but my heart is lost to them forever. So we can't choose who we love, you know...love chooses us...la de da...I know I didn't want to love Chauncey that's for sure!!!! LOL. And frankly I'm not all that thrilled about the Pistons right now, but none of my affair teams are working for me...Nash is the only guy on any of my affair teams that I can get at all worked up about anymore. All my other six affair teams...whatever...I just want the Pistons to get better so I can pay top dollar to see them once a year...I want my babies back! Now Darthie! Just Kidding. :D I got a little project you might be interested in and you are the perfect person for it. It might even be as much fun as the offseason which culminated in you killing me in our Murder Game. It involves writing, all four major professional sports, research re same, fan paraphenalia, possible legal implications and your brilliant mind! It does not involve making money. Seriously. LOL. I mean I'm not making any, so you won't. LOL. So...pm me...text me...call me...something......I'm in over my head! P.S. This is my first post I think since I lost Novice Bball League on a TieBreaker. Except for American Idol posts. Yes, I've been bitter. LOL. A Tiebreaker? Are you kidding me? Lee DeWyze? Are you kidding me?
Kim! I was pulling for you after you upended me in dramatic fashion in the first round. I am glad that you picked the Pistons to root for. I would miss your posts if you were a Lakers fan.
When I die and go to the afterworld, if I come to consciousness and all around me there is an undulating sea of phantom spirits in gold and purple Lakers' jerseys I will know that I did not live a good and worthy life and that I am now in Hell. Let it not be so.
See comments above. ^ Already phoned you. Great idea!! I can't wait to receive mine. Maybe Rascoe can help you with this? He will probably be in a great mood after waking up to the thread I started today which honors him.
Hey, Kimmie: Where in Indiana are you from?? Sounds like the Calumet region. I worked in Whiting for Union Carbide for 9 years. Right accross the railroad tracks from the old Std. Oil refinery. Lived in Hammond, Munster, and Glenwood, IL. I've long since moved from there, but the smell lingers on. Of course, I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, so the Detroit teams are all my favorites.
