I read that David Stern will credit the Pistons loss in Euros.
That is perfect. I was worried that the game time would conflict with part I of Oprah's interview with Lance.
Stern can probably pass a hat around the league office facilies to come up with enough jack to cover the missed Palace revenue that would have been generated by the 900 fans who would have paid to see this game.
Stern actually struck a deal with Gores where we will win the draft lottery.
Question: Who is going, and does anyone want to meet up beforehand at the Arena for beers?
There will probably be more Pistons fans at this game than a traditional Palace home game.
Looks like Drummond is scouting Europe for the next Austin Daye.
That kid has some amazing planking potential.
I wonder how high he can kick the wall?
I have no NBATV. I guess I can't watch this game. Hope to read some good reports....especially from those that attended.
Mason introduces BK7 as "the London Knight." Pistons trail 13-2 after 3 minutes. Down 16-2 after 4 minutes. All starters are MINUS 14.
That was an average game.
Missed the game completely. Expected loss when I saw that teen wolf led the team in scoring with only 4 assists, but Knight's binary stat line was alarming. Did he get hurt or something?
Spoiler alert Ex Pistons in the house>>> Zeke in the NBA TV Studio and Bill Laimbeer doing radio broadcast in the 4th qtr with Blaha. Laims is clearly still bleeding Piston red and blue and you could tell by how critical he was of their play in the fourth quarter...Seemed almost disgusted with them...either that or he was still upset that Lawrence had the Piston job and Laims is once again running a ladies franchise as the GM and coach of the NY Liberty. If the Liberty are successful with a ring this year, somebody on the mens side should give him a job again...maybe he can take Joe's place As BL said, terrible start for the Pistons...Tay hits two FT's and then the Knicks go a 16-0 run... guess the Pistons aren't use to traveling to far distances as they seem lethargic in the beginning missing both FG's and FT's Must have been a lot of Pistons fans as there were a lot of cheers when the Pistons scored....They were the "home team" and maybe Mason brought a hundred people with him. But you have to think the Knicks were the team all of the Londoners came to see. The Knicks announcers Spera Dedas and Clyde Frazier gave the Pistons plenty of praise, but in the beginning, they did not look like a team that had won 7 of their past 10.
Per 36 Knight would have gone for 2, 2 and 2. Any FIBA fans at the game probably thought, 'Kyle Singler didn't even start over here!'.
When you get outrebounded by the Knicks, you know you're having an off night.
Pffft! Whatever! If we could have done one of those In-Game Trades at halftime (Melo for Prince), we could have easily came back and pulled this one out.
Goodness the Knicks own us. They really, really do. I don't remember the last time we played them where we weren't basically out of it by the end of one.
The long flight, riding on the London Eye and visiting Buckingham Palace did the Pistons in..
January 7th 2012. The first Q ended 25-24 NY. We got annihilated in the second quarter.
