This is a game we could use someone like Josh Smith to keep Porzingis at bay.

    Stanley J should guard Porzingas.

Bulls get annihilated by the Rockets, they drop down once again. Bucks pull into the 8 spot, holy crap.

They kind of screwed up signing Dellavedova for almost $10MM/year. He has a 9.8 PER, 1.0 WS, and a -1.0 VORP.

Also, they are paying Teletovic $10.5MM/year and he is similarly poor. He has an 8.6 PER, 0.3 WS, and a -0.6 VORP.

I bet they wish they could have allocated that $20.5MM to one impactful player instead.

And then, of course, they signed Monroe for $17.1MM (making him their highest paid player) and he hasn't started a game this year. He's playing really well, but he is doing it against bench units and he is getting less playing time than the #36 pick in the draft, who is making less than a million dollars.

But they are getting serious contributions from former Pistons and have the deal of the decade in Giannis Antetokounmpo. Also, as I mentioned earlier, they are getting as many minutes and as much production out of the #36 and #38 draft picks as we are from 2 of our best bench players- Ish and Baynes.

So, the Bucks are wasting some serious money and at the same time are saving some serious money. With better FA signings and some injury avoidance, they would probably be fighting for the #3 seed in the East.

They finally got Khris Middleton back from injury and then Jabari Parker blows out his ACL. Parker had been playing really well. The Bucks had one of the best defenses in the league last year with Middleton and Antetokounmpo healthy. This year, they are 20th+.

Not sure if they will be better for the remainder of the year with Middleton in and Parker out. Middleton might have some Reggie Jackson post injury rust to shake off.

Middleton has no rust. He has been on fire.

I brilliantly picked him up for my fantasy team when he was injured.

Yeah, you're right. As his minutes have ramped up, so has his production. His assists are through the roof too at 8.1 per 100 possessions!

If you want some optimism, remember that when Middleton was with us, he was 21 years old. Stanley Johnson is only 20. The organization may have let one slip away, but let's hope that Stanley turns out to have a similar breakout as a 2 way player.

Joe had some pretty nice draft picks.

Pistons with a quick 14-9 start. Maybe Tobias starting is a good idea.....(one more start, though, and he becomes ineligible for 6th man of the year award).

This is the best stretch our offense has looked all year. We scored 21 points in less than 6 minutes. That's on pace for about 170 points.

    Reggie looking awesome.

Lots of people wanted to get rid of him a couple weeks ago.
