No, that was not the intent at all. Statements/thoughts that are oxymorons in my own brilliant mind I tend to state are moronic....Like Rich Rod stating they have had a "great" week of practice, Like Lions coaches saying that any pro team can beat any pro team on any given week. But apparently verbally saying things sartastically apparently comes across as much funnier that typing it. So, I apologize about my post, it was not intended as it came across, I should have said it was a very (very) funny oxymoron (and I do still chuckle about it).

So did any of the Lion haters pick Cleveland this week? As I said, all of you that just pick against the Lions made all this way to easy. This should be a challenge and so I say you should be forced to continue that through the year. (I'd be mre concerned about Thanksgiving than this sunday).

I have the Browns 17-10. Thanksgiving, the Lions will have no right to win, but I bet they do.

Since they won Sunday, I give them no chance on Thursday. Game is sold out, so for those of us close it will not be blacked out.......watch as Charles Woodson is going to drop a couple mill into UM hospitals, on the national coverage. It would be much better going to MSU, but a great nationally ranked top 10 hospital in Michigan needs the help.

It is nice to see a couple more in the loss column though. This was a tough week for the favorites (unless of course you were smart enough (like I) to pick the right favorite).

5 weeks left. Getting to be exciting....seems nemo still has the upper hand with teams left to pick, but there have been a lot of close games for the dominating teams over the last few weeks. I can't see Indy or NO being undefeated the whole season, so picking them at the right (wrong) time will hurt (especially when one is sitting with one loss).

The Raiders beat the Eagles and messed some people up a few weeks ago. Now Pitt.

Pitt screwed me last week. I hate those guys now.

Eagles blew out the Falcons! Go EAGLES!!!!:flame::cheerleader:

Just noticed that out of the 7 remaining players no one has picked Denver yet.

Gotta love the Raiders. I'm surprised no one had New Orleans, a blown field goal (of about 15 yards)would have tanked them, but I was rooting against them for nothing. NO pulled it out anyway, but that would have been fun to see. The pickings aren't all that easy the rest of the way. I'm even nervous about Detroit with Culpepper in there (I beleive he'll start next week)...he'll get those guys going.

Of all the teams you could pick to root for, I can't believe you picked the Eagles, Darth. Bill Simmons sums it up nicely:

That's great. Thanks for sharing. :)

    Why I picked the Eagles:

    1. Man love for Mcnabb.

    2. Green.

3.My close friends (Dallas fans) hate them with a passion.

    4. Just a perfect fit for me based on everything that guy wrote!

(I can't begin to tell you how much fun I am having).

1-you have Man love for way too many men...you scare me.

2- you're always green with envy so I understand..but you scare me.

3- your "close friends" hate you with a passion, so this is a bit of tit-for-tat ... but the whole revenge thought really scares me.

4- I thought you had a perfect fit with your fruit of the loom. But most people do not wear their's on their head....another reason you scare me.

Please stay in potato land...don't tell too many you have a degree from MSU...and I'll be fine (at least according to my therapist).

Betting on Pittsburgh hurt a lot of us throughout the season. Huge upsets. People betting against Oakland was also a killer.

Going into today five are left, but if the five lose today, we have a 7 way tie for first.

I'm interested to see who everyone picked today.

Big football day for me. I'll be interested in several games. :)

    Go Eagles!!!
