This week was tough. The Atlanta game (over sorry Washington)seemed like a sure thing but I wanted to save them for later so I picked crappy Seattle over Detroit. I left that there all week and then switched back and forth about three times the half hour before the game.

I ended up going back to Seattle over Detroit. But with Calvin J. & Stafford in...I'm nervous. Then again, the Lions can't beat anyone...especially on the road...right? GULP!

I stood with Atlanta all week but switched out to take the Saints over Carolina.
I realized that Washington's defense is actually ranked 4th while Atlanta's defense was ranked 17th. The Washington QB now has a petter passer rating than Matt Ryan of Atlanta...since he's been in a slump.

Just didn't seem safe. Atlanta however is now winning 21-7 Uuuuuugggghhh. :pound:

i went atlanta over washington... one thing as bad as picking the lions to win is picking them to lose.... over the years they have that one game where they win when they have no business even being in the game.

Sorry for possible confusion (thanks Tater). I wasn't waving goodbye...waving as a heads-up to make a pick...which it looks like Winless made this afternoon :)

So I've gone out of my way to NOT pick against the Lions since that is too easy. Can this be a rule for the remaider of the year, or else there will be several that are not eliminated.

OK, I promise not to pick them to lose this week against the Cleveland Clowns! But I'm not picking the Lions to win either. :sssh:

Hey, may as well make the bums good for something. Why waste the good losses? Anyhow, it's not like St. Louis, Tampa, Cleveland, or Kansas City are much better.

Eight survivors and seven weeks to go. A couple of narrow escapes last week (including YOU, Knowverylittle). But we are running out of good teams so MAYBE a winner will be declared in the end. Does the winner get a PF trophy for this?

    Go Eagles!

There will be no trophies for this.
I won last year twice and didn't get any for my efforts. :bow1:

What??? I've been analyzing and studying to make the picks I have after an early season loss for no trophey?? I could have taken the easy Lion hater approach of those with little tiny BBs, but no...and no trophey? Maybe those that have picked against the Lions consistently should be forced to do so this week, just to demonstrate the one drop of testosterone I hope they still have in their entire bloodstream. Or pick the Loins and "go down in "flames"" with the Lions (I still chuckle about that moronic quote).

    Sorry I misquoted.....

the actual quote was "But, I would rather burn out than fade away" by picking the Lions...pretty similar to going down in flames with the Lions but not exact (should I call you Greg?). None the less I still find it hilarious, but I apologize to the author Roscoe
for the misquote. Anyway burning out with the all powerful Lions is proudly touted by some, but very (very) funny to others. Sorry for the misquote Roscoe, but it was still moronic.

Correct me if I'm wrong. A Brady Bunch reference? The one where they were living by exact words?

Haha. I didn't see the invisible/subliminal stuff until I quoted you.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I understood you correctly, and you were calling my post moronic.

Yes. Greg Brady. Good catch, much more than I would have expected from you!
