I agree. New Jersey is now on the map as a real possibility as a collusion/collision location for free agents. This guy hands out assists every night like he's giving candy to kids. And the owner has money and wants to make a big splash. Definitely a great move for New Jersey.
Thems FIGHTIN Words! Actually I think the colusion will be with Howard going west to OKC, if they play their cards right and not be dumb enough to cling to Green or overpay him. they'll have enough $$$$ to sign Westbrook and Howard.
It's easy for us to be frustrated that we've mentioned D-Will a lot and he seemingly got sent packing for a deal we could have offered, but apparently the word is a lot of GM's out there are pissed because they didn't know Deron was able to be had.

Like the slow one said, Joe's Blackberry is probably jammed with games etc and he is not getting privy to any deals/information. Plus every GM probably has Joe's number on Block so his text messages are getting ignored by every GM in the association
The owner will get rid of the little general if Williams doesnt want to play for him. The owner is a fighter and wants to win the battle with the Knicks. Avery can be replaced. Free agent recruitment would be helped if the arena was built. You can now see the actual construction underway. The new arena is in a perfect location..accessible by public transportation. If the Nets field a good team, the support will be incredible. We are on the season ticket list. I live 20 minutes by bus from the new arena and I am a 5 minute walk from work. Brooklyn is the new Manhattan. The owner has been rejected by Lebron and Carmelo. Williams was a good fit because maybe he can bring other free agents to the Nets.
