Plenty of good players don't have a ring. The ring doesn't define a player. And yeah, I would like having Iverson here.

Iverson could come off the bench for me. But not at CB's expense.
I think everybodies underestimating CB's leadership role. A lot of PGs just can't carry the mail.

CB's been Flip's biggest cheerleader since Flip got here...and was initally ecstatic that Flip allowed him to show his stuff. IMO...by the end of the regular season CB had grown tired of Flip's affect on his teammates and it took the air outta him. But it's not like he could take back his earlier cheers publicly. I see CB following Ben's lead outta Detroit when his contract is up.

    FEAR THE TEAL!

We're in agreement. I love CB's game. His interview with ESPN ("Cold Pizza"), however, bothered me. I thought he propped himself up a little too much. I guess he just got caught up on it. It bothered me. Sorry.

I think you're right, maybe you could elaborate on that. He had worked with Flip in Mini. He wanted more O load for himself. Because the true PG role, especially in LB's system, didn't let him gun enough. And wasted his talent. So we see at the start of the season Rip and he tearing it up all across the country, just killin' teams. They were as effective as Dumars and Zeke. People said they were the best back court in the league. So what's to worry. I think CB learned, as good as he was, he can't take over a game like Iverson or kobe. He still has to pick his shots well. And direct traffic.

I expect Chauncey to bounce back though. The roles were reversed this year and instead of being an above average regular season PG, and the best playoff PG he was a top regular season PG and an average playoff PG.

Chauncey hhad MVP talks and got on a video game cover. He'll get none of that next year so we'll see what happens.

That is wrong though because this team was about equality. Chauncey thinks he's the best player on the best team well you can make a case for the others too.

    Himat it's a tight call.
Depending on who you talk to.
CB is a top 3 PG. True?
Rip is a top 7 SG. True?
Tay is a top 12 SF. Crude guess, any Tay fans can up this to top 6 if he wants. I won't fight you too hard on that. Lay it on me.
Sheed is a top 5 PF. True?
And BBeen is a top 10 C. True?
So if my ratings are true CB is the top player at any position on the Pistons. Not that he should be rubbing it in.
Gees people actually saw him as the league MVP! What's up with that?

Not me big guy. I had him as the 4th - 7th best PG depending on how you score even back in the first part of the season when he was playing really well.

    Better PGs

Chris Paul (the second coming of Zeke?)
Jason Kidd (master of the triple double)
Steve Nash (far and away the best passing and most efficient scoring PG)
Baron Davis (when he's hot, he's blazin hazen)

    Borderline elite

    Tony Parker
    Jason Terry
    Gilbert Arenas
    TJ Ford

I don't have any idea what this means, but I do plan to start using it as much as I can in as many different contexts as I can.

:focus: Not that I'm not doing my part to contribute to the variety of topics in this thread, but it is supposed to be about Mohammed and I'd just like to add that he is tall.

Some of them are a little loose. But CB never was an MVP.

    I hear now he's only 6'10".
A Ladyfinger firecracker is about 1" long. You can let one explode on your hand and it won't leave a mark.
