Of course it is a speculation at this point, but if he does sign with them, it makes them instantly one of the favorites to win Eastern Conference.

Worst news I have heard all day. Lets hope this is just a rumor even though Stein is more creditable than some of those other ESPN guys. I should have cornered him when I saw him in Vegas on Saturday to see if he knew what Joes' thoughts were...

If the Bucks lose Mo, do they get back into the Billups' sweepstakes?

Are you saying: so much for the agreement and CB wanting to stay in D-town?

Maybe we could swap Yi for Billups and then sign Darko with the MLE and rename ourselves the Detroit Charmins.

Naw, Sheed wouldn't stand for it.

Billups would be dumb to leave Detroit -- if he cares about winning. He has a much better chance here.

Let`s face it, that is a tough sell to compete with Riley, Shaq and Wade. Especially coming off a ship a couple of years ago.

Dang, Riles took him to right place South Beach, but he probably would have sealed the deal if he had taken him to brunch instead of dinner...the nude action on the beach during the day is hot ..well it was the last time I was down there in 93...I can only imagine what it would be like these days when things are much looser than they were back then. If he is single I can see him moving... :)

From what i read on the Bucks' board, he's engaged, and about to get married, but i guess the eye-candy could still be a big draw . . .

I was in Miami beach a few weeks ago, my cuz has this fantastic apartment, we went to a great restauraunt. She says she sees Shaq/Wade all the time at different places. I'm a NY person through and through, and i don't like the heat (i mean the weather, although i hate the team as well LOL), but I could see how somebody would fall in love w/ the place.

Hopefully this is just a negotiation tactic to get more from the Bucks. I still can't get over that his contract if he signs will be so similar to what we got Chauncey for. Strange.

I don't think the Heat have much of a front court. Shaq is basically done. He is good for maybe 40 games a year and 25 minutes a game.

    Look at their depth chart.

ESPN - Miami Heat News, Schedule, Players, Scores, Stats, Photos, Rumors - NBA Basketball

They will have 2 guards and and 2 aging centers.

Captain Quirk is healing just fine. Washington is by far the best team in the Southeast, then Orlando and then Charlotte. Miami will not make the playoffs this coming year without or without Williams.

    :hoops:

I don't know if Washington is better by that much. They play no D. Same in Orlando. Charlotte would be interesting to watch with J-Rich. That division could be wide open.
