Sorta a dead chat now, as the dynamic's of our 2nd unit are going to change greatly.... We have a whole new line of lineup idea's for you Lee... any impressions of our new guard?
Agreed. When Jennings and Ellis were blowing us apart in the third, I was chanting, then screaming "bring Kenny in". He is showing he is our best guard on D, so use him! Give him a task just to be all over Jennings in full court and not to worry about the fouls, just hassle, hassle, hassle. Frank brings in Bynum for Knight instead. Daye's confidence is shot again and he is proving that he is a bad defender with his doubling up of just awful fouls lately. What (other than garbage time) does JJ need to do to take his minutes. Better yet, give Singler his minutes at the 3 and let Kenny loose on the SGs Singler can't catch. But a big positive to finish up. 18-18 for the D R U M M O N D ! ! ! !
Stuckey might be, and probably is, a better player than Bynum. The big difference is Bynum, being undrafted, worked very hard to get where he is at and probably appreciates every minute on the court. On the other hand, Stuckey feels a sense of entitlement and probably resents every minute he's not on the court. As a result Bynum tries hard to do whatever he can to make sure he plays again next game whereas Stuckey goes into the "I'm the franchise and I'm going to win this game myself" mode. I also don't buy the argument that Stuckey doesn't pass because he doesn't have good shooters around him. He passed the ball just as much when he was playing with Sheed/Dice/Rip or Gordon/CV, or Daye/Singler/CV. He just doesn't pass the ball. Stuckey needs to go to a perpetual lottery team because that's where he belongs.
I think Roscoe meant that Stuckey is a poor man's version of the Jerry Stackhouse that is playing now.
