Bucks are playing at home where they have not lost as of yet. http://www.brewhoop.com/2012/1/12/2...son-brandon-jennings-brandon-knight?ref=yahoo This writer seems to think this is a most important game for the Bucks. Bucks by 17................
"It's been a frustrating start, first having to deal with the suspension then battling with this ankle injuring. Not the way I expected to start the year, but everything happens for a reason and I will remain optimistic and confidence things will turn-around for the best. I believe in our team and expect better to come. I appreciate everyone's positive comments and best wishes. Stay patient, tomorrow is a brighter day. I'm hoping to be back soon. God bless. Thanks, CV" - Charlie Villanueva, via Facebook.
Nothing fires me up more that some poorly written inspirational thoughts from Chuck-G. He IS right though, "tomorrow is a brighter day" ...as long as 'tomorrow' consists of Joe finding a GM willing to involve you in some sort of a trade package.
Rodney Stuckey, who has returned from injury, has already made an impact on the game. He's one of the top guards on this planet!
Not many guys can say they'd had a 32 points 16 rebound game in the NBA. Monroe is having a breakout. Also, in this one, Bogut got 4 rebounds, so pretty solid from our nightly MVP. Also, Knight filling it up. Good to have Stuckey back. He makes a difference. Very good balance overall from Milwaukee's starters. 3, 3, 4, 5, and 6 assists for them. Us too actually, with the except of JJ. And Delfino with a really well rounded game: 9 points 6 rebounds 4 assists 3 steals 2 blocked shots 1 turnover 1 foul 50% eFG +17 We lost, but it was only single digits, so a pretty nice showing by our guys.
To me, this was the most frustrating game yet. They played with no heart. let Greg carry them - but at the end prince hogs the ball and tosses up a clunker.
6th loss in a row, but second where they were able to lose by less than 14 pts, as the Pistons lose 102-93. Greg Monroe showed that we can build a team around him with 32 and 16 against Bogut and Brandon Knight despite the 5 turns was still IMO one of his best games. He needs to stay in the starting line-up, and maybe pair him with Stuckey instead of Gordon. Only two assists tonight because Tay and BG were as cold as ice...(Foreigner) ...and he made a couple of passes to Max and Wilkens that weren't converted. The Pistons tried to keep this one close and even had a one point lead with about 2 mins left in the half, but let the Bucks close out the half on a 12-2 run. They closed it to three points with (94-91) with 90 seconds left, but could not score anymore and once again another loss for a team that in this game made a few strides over the previous game. Wonder if Daye would have made a difference taking some of Tay's minutes? The difference in the game was the three point shooting as they hit 11/22, (many of them uncontested ) and the Pistons hit 3 of 5. Both teams were perfect at the line as the Pistons shot 24/24 (Max, Ben or LeBron , did not go to the free throw line).
