The key to this game was containing Middleton.

On the Pistons side...Charlie has been back for two games and that equals two wins. A 38 point first quarter didn't hurt either. Rodney "Cut the Check" Stuckey once again leads the team in scoring.

Similar to when Darko was a rookie. The Pistons were like 37-1 whenever Darko got into the game.

He played a good game last night, I just knew Lee was going to have an entire Leecap dedicated to how dumb Dumars was for letting go of such a great player and keeping the likes of Kyle Singler.

    Battle of the Brandons.
    ...Some observations:
    • Ja Ja Ja JENNINGS! Hopefully Mo Cheeks softens on his 'no game film' policy long enough to archive this performance by Brandon Jennings and play it for him often. THIS is the way that he needs to play. THIS is the way that Jennings can help this team succeed. ...Spread the shots out. ...Be efficient. ...Be impactful!
    • Being Thanksgiving week here in the States, I'm reminded that I usually eat like a pig and put on 5-10 pounds during the holidays. This year though, I have a full-proof solution to win the battle of the bulge. I simply look at Josh Smith's most recent shot chart after every meal and yack away the calories. Baskeball induced bulimia has never been so easy!
    • Jorts calling out defensive sets is priceless!
    • Kent Pope added some offense to his defense and shot the rock better in this one. He didn't rush his jumper and he looked a lot smoother.
    • Charlie's breakaway dunk was awesome. He reminded me of a 360 lb defensive lineman recovering a fumble and running for a touchdown.
    • Remember a couple years ago during the height of the buffoonery era when there was some debate about who had more to do with building the '04 championship roster - Hammond or Dumards. Looking at the Bucks current roster, I'm inclined to side with Joe D.
    • I'm VERY glad that cooler heads prevailed and we didn't sign OJ Mayo last summer.
    • We beat da GREEK and we're on a streak! - Go Pistons!!!

First game I've gotten to watch nearly all the way through (did a little fast forwarding in the second half). I'm not sure what all the complaining has been about, this team looks great.

It's like comparing the solo albums of David Gilmour vs Roger Waters after the Pink Floyd breakup.

Who made the playoffs last, Hammond or Dumards?

    Playoff basketball!

Jorts is my new favorite Piston. He's like a big white Ken English who actually contributes when given minutes.

He's basically Scott Pollard with talent.

Recommendation: If you're having a bad day, Do a Google Image Search for Scott Pollard.

Jorts is pretty cool! He gives you a great 10 minutes oh game time action, believe it or not, not many guys in this league can do that.

Great game for us, but the Bucks put the aaaaaaaw in aaaaaaawful.

Most pleasing was some of the defence we played. Was some points they all looked tied together, then there was good flares, spacing on pick and rolls to allow the chaser through, help defence and filling the lane (one notable number 0 consistently doing this where he had been slow to do so in past games this season). Not sure how much was related to the Bucks inability, but either way, it shows these blokes how they should be playing on D.

On offence, they ran some really nice plays through Monroe on the elbow, some great in-out play and all round good movement (could I be cheeky and suggest maybe it is because Singler wasn't out there just running around in circles...)

Jennings was great and played exactly how I hoped he would when we traded for him. One exciting thing for me was that he really does seem to enjoy dropping nice dimes on his team-mates - that little dance after the Mitchell oop the example. So far there can't be much argument with his statement that he will become more pass first, upping his assist average from 5.8 to 8.4. His TOs are very low too.

Stuckey, Smith Pope, Monroe, Jorts were all good too.

    2 in a row baby!

Granted Milwaukee is terrible right now, but we put them away in the 1st quarter and was able to comfortably keep them at bay for 3 quarters worth of garbage time. That's how you're supposed to beat a very bad team.

If this was a 3pt win that was decided with some late game heroics, then I would put an asterisk, or a question mark, next to this W. But, we simply destroyed Milwaukee, and did so very quickly and seemingly with little effort. IMO, that fact eliminates all the "yeah, but" arguments.

Yeah, but Singler had contact issues. If he would have been available, this would have likely been a very close W.

Quite true. We were lucky. Obviously, a guy who was plus 300 points per 48 minutes while in the game should not have been playing.
