Sorry so late 2 Tough! Kobe 61 pts , 3 assists= 67 pts LeBron 52 pts, 11 assists = 74 pts Triple Double I'll say bron's was better!
Because at his age, dyess runs like a camel! Bless his heart!
Well Curry didnt miss the free throws , still........ we won a game by ONLY 3 points AS we held Wade to 10 of 31 shooting!!! This is still a dysfunctional team..........
Right On, king Kong Bye Bye ButtaFly!
u forget the CHARLOTTE game ?? LOL
How can curry figured out how to coach a 4th quarter? He's only coached 46 OF THEM!! LOL What the hell was Joe thinking? ...rookie coach my abernathy!!!
but now that i think of it....why is maimi's rookie coach's 25-21 better than OUR rookie coach's 25-21? LOL
who? .....oh, the baby maker!
Ive been saying that since we went 4 -1, Slipster!!
Lee, you really do have to stop watching games based on your very obvious favortism. Your posts are nothing if not at least consistent. Some of us have actually been watching basketball for 40 years and if you cant see that Amir has the CEILING POTENTIAL of , oh say, a JOHN SALLEY at BEST (and right now , he is STILL LIGHT YEARS away from that), you would understand that what he does ONE Play at a time is nothing like what MOST players do 25 plays A NIGHT. Not a put down for YOU, Lee-O , just an observation by a guy who actually watches OTHER NBA games ever since watching Lew alcindor put 39 on the Celtics in 1969. >

And thats how we should be using Amir and max if the INMATES werent running the asylum. Just put in a tape of Chuck D coaching (while listening to Chuck D rapping..hahaha) andCurry could learn a LOT!!!
Jermaine O Neal....a perfect example of a kid who got NO BURN in his first years in portland but became a All Star bcuz he was TALENTED from the get go. Amir was the LAST player chosen in the Draft not bcuz he was TALENTED but bcuz he was a PROJECT and for all he COULD have, if he had TALENT , he breaks through the bad coaching that also has led to his underachieving.
What's McDyess's ceiling? The guy was threatening to retire earlier this season if Denver wouldn't release him. We tried Dyess last year and it didn't work. We are a much worse team now, so what's the point? If you ignore the overall +/- between these 2 guys, which is very far apart, then there is still this stat: We outscore our opponent during 54.1% of Amir's stints. We outscore our opponent during 38.5% of Dyess's stints. As I showed earlier, these 2 players score at almost the same rate. The difference is that Amir is scoring off of other players' misses while Dyess is scoring off designed plays. Even if they converted at the same rate, Amir's service would be much more valuable to overall team FG% b/c he's doing it off of rebs and adding possessions. But, Amir is actually converting at a much higher rate on top of it. Most teams out there have an athletic garbage man on the court. It is an extremely valuable, but underappreciated role. It doesn't look pretty, but it takes a lot of energy.
..............my head just imploded!
thanks, Brother techster!
When you guys stop looking at numbers and realize NBA players DONT (see Kevin Garnett vs Amir) , you will understand that theday Amir gets 17 rebounds on 2 bad knees and 14 yrs in this league, will be the day i marry Oprah! Thats my FREEKIN POINT, number 22.
NBA execs DO. And for good reason. If you don't, you end up overpaying for a bunch of overhyped no defense playing egomaniacs. You end up signing guys like Marbury because he put up some flashy stats. How do you explain the team's ineffectiveness with Dyess on the floor? Is it merely bad luck repeating itself over and over? You don't think it is possible that he will end up shooting shots that Sheed could just as easily shoot? It's all about how 5 guys work together, not which 5 guys are the best.
they've been pretty effective with dice in the floor if you ask me...
