The first step is admitting it.

I know what you mean - I feel the same way. Its so deflating to go though another losing season. That losing streak to all those bad teams was a real
moral crusher. They just dont seem to work very hard or want it enough - I dont know.

Me too. Maybe we can form an organization to try and get him better haircuts.

You can get away with doing ONE of these things:
    • Signing Mo Cheeks
    • Signing Josh Smith
    • Trading for Brandon Jennings

Doing all three is/was a recipe for disaster.

He came back from Europe looking like Sunshine in Remember the Titans during the Summer League. Not sure what went wrong after that.

Totally agree. He has been out coached by near every team in the league, and has no control over the players.

No coach worth his salt should be telling (or letting) Josh Smith to jack 5 threes a game.

Mo Cheeks will not be fired this year. No possible way.

What if he has a very public lipstick incident? Or a naked drive through experience?

The question is if Joe gets canned, does Gores give the new GM a blank check to fire Cheeks?

Joe doesn't need to be canned. Isn't this the last year of his contract? Gores can just choose not to offer a new contract.

That Joe hasn't already been re-upped isnt exactly a vote of confidence.

Phil jackson would be a good way to set a new tone.make him be the coach in exchange for giving him gm power and some ownership.

Jackson is to old. He likes living in LA, and apparently it's difficult for him to get around much. I doubt he's coming out of retirement, and if he does, I don't think it will be to Detr

That being said, I'm ready for a new GM and coach. I've been a big supporter of Dumars since he got the job, but this season should be the last.

Who do we want as our new GM? Who is out there who makes sense? We don't want a guy to strip and rebuild - Presti, Ujiri. So what is the pool of available GM's to take over this mess?

I have no problems with a GM stripping this team as long as it isn't Joe.
