Two barnburners down in Tampa today. Betcha nobody had San Diego winning today as they were a 11.5 point dog. Now cinderella plays the #12 Western Kentucky who also won their game in OT. Can San Diego contain the 3 point barrage by W. Kentucky?

UCLA will wait for either of them next week...:)

South Alabama loses big and I move into last place!

I mean, who picks South Alabama?

I'm screwed...I had UConn going to the final game as my darkhorse. :nerd2:

But on the bright side, at least the Texas-Austin Peay score got me half of my money back for a square :D

I still have 14 of my Sweet 16 left. I lost Connecticut and Clemson in two no-way-in-hell losses. Today should be a good day.

This is a great time to get our minds of the Saunders( they havent been the Pistons for 3 years)....

I don't think I've ever picked this badly after the first round (22 of 32). Four of my Sweet 16 are out. All of my Elite 8 are still in. That's really the key.

With me leaving off the winners of the regional semi finalist and finalist in the East bracket I am losing a potential 12 points there and would need a win by my remaining 12 sweet sixteen candidates as well as a finals win by Memphis just to finsh in the top 5 .... Even though I picked Duke to win today, I am oK with sacrificing 2 points for them to lose today...they should have lost Thursday.

8:04 PM TX A & M went up by 10pts, 36-26 with 16 mins left in the game. Now it is 42-36 TXAM. 12:00 mins left

UCLA a great second half team, will chip away (with the refs help) to steal this home game or win it going away....

Even though I picked them in this one too..I will gradually sacrifice 2 pts to see the Bruins go down...:) Their fans and Lakers fans are one in the same >>>arrogant!!

    UCLA holds on.

I had Pitt in the Final Four. Thanks a lot, Michigan State. :)

Actually, I'm glad the Spartans won.

Like I said the Bruins would come back to steal a victory down the highway from their campus. Why the Aggies continued to attack Kevin Love in the middle was beyond me...the refs were not going to call a foul on him, (well they called 2) What did he have about 9 blocks?? At least a third of the blocks were probably fouls on Love..he even tackled a player on the floor and there was no call....The Aggs could shoot the long range jumper, but could have thrown up some short jumpers to beat the Bruins. UCLA had its test and will dispose of San Diego next week with no problem...unless Love trips and injures himself on campus..

He is the best Freshman out there over both OJ Mayo and Beasley. He looks better than Greg Oden did in his freshman year. :stirthepot: and looks better than Darko does now:)

Did u read the SI story on the taunting he(Love) got when they played Oregon?...damn!!....Anyway, when A&M had their 10 pt lead, i turned to my wife and said-"that's it..UCLA will wim". They remind me of State in the Mateen years....

Great win for State. ?The offense should run through Lucas and out to Drew. No one can stop Lucas' penetration skills. I think they can make final 4 from here.

yeah HQ lucas is crazy; when the spartans gave up the steal/layup toward the end of the half, i couldn't believe how quickly lucas got down the court for a layup of his own to end the half

This is why they call is March Madness so that Davison and someone like Curry can carry a team on his back in the land of enchantment and Cinderelladim.....

Whatever happen to the split screen action that ESPN use to deploy? We had three teams going to the wire but they only showed the two where the #2 was in trouble. No San Diego/WKU moments and at one time the score was only 2 pts apart
