The Mad Ants have lost two games to the Red Claws this season, and still have a couple more to play. Our farm team is struggling. In fact, a few months ago they held open tryouts, looking for local talent that could help the team.

What the Mad Ants really lack right now is an excellent half-court shooter, and an on-the-floor coach to make up for clueless Tinknor. I wonder if there is anyone on the forum that could help?

After they finally fixed the backboard maintenance issue, I was treated to an unintentionally hilarious line from the announcer (almost as good as the Seinfeld reference in the Nets game)...

"He goes over Fab Melo and he FABRICATES him. Oh my goodness, how about that one. Ha ha ha. Check that basket to see if the bolts are still in it. That's what the fans come out to see. As Al McGuire used to say, the dunk shot is the homerun of basketball!!!!!"

37:15 through about 37:30 on the broadcast
(anybody here ever see best in show? This guy is like Fred Willard's character announcing the dog show)

Imagine yelling "Dude, give me the ball, I can fabricate this guy. I'm going to score so hard that it will result in repeat mechanical breakdowns on the goal apparatus."

That probably won't get you the rock at most gyms outside of MIT.

Special treat with DeJuan Summers on the Red Claws.

Some more good lines and I'm not even through the 1st Q:

"Working on his shot is right. He looked like Jerry West on that one. Low trajectory just slammed in there."

"He looked like he was rocket powered by the way he went up and finished that one."

"Kim English up and under, sashayed on the shot and didn't get it."

As good as it is, I can't really waste any more time watching this.
