Well the Lakers 15 pt half time did not hold, they blew a 21 pt second half lead to the 2nd worst team in the NBA, Wiz and lost by 5... you guessed it James Worthy is not happy categorizing the Pistons and the Wizards in the same league>>> which he feels is below his beloved Lakers...
Yea.......the Lakers losing to the Wiz, after just losing to the Pistons. Sounds like a player revolt over there. Maybe, Sheed did sign with them...........should check the roster.
you can check out the latest from Silvertongue as well: Stuckey is workng hard on his midrange and his longrange shots and movements and instead of relentless juggernaughting - learns how to read opponents better. That is encouraging, at least, Stuckey and coaching staff know pluses and minuses and Stuckey works as much as schedule allows.
Takes away some of the MVP lustre from Kobe........ He had 2 bad games...shooting wise. Seems to me like his coach is choosing to let Kobe do his thing. The bigs just don't get enough shot attempts. In the 2 games...Kobe shoots 17 of 57 for 30% Bynum and Gasol shot........33 of 51 for 65% "Lucy, I think we have a problem"
After Sunday's win vs the Heat and the three winning mask streak, folks were adding Kobe to the MVP candidates....well there are second thoughts now that he is back to his old habits of shoot first and look for big man later. This is one reason why the Lakers are not on DHowards list of tradeable places. Kobe said that if they were to swap Bynum for Howard, that superman would be the third option behind him and Gasoft. IMO Bynum might be more valuable on the team than Howard. He does not have all of the skillsets yet, but he is a big body that can dominate if he has the right facilitator. The coach has to restore some order and rope Kobe in, or the three game projected win road sweep will have James Worthy and Jack Nicholson calling for coach Browns head if Rubio, Klove and ...Darko hand them a third straight defeat. Meanwhile, Phil Jackson waits to see if the LinsanKnicks who are only 5 games ahead of the Pistons among others will hold on to the last playoff spot and if not, he is will be ready to swoop in and take over next season.
I see that the Lakers just sent Darius Morris to the D League. I wonder if he has a future in the NBA or if it's over for him. He is on a team desperate for a point guard and he can't get any pt.
The team definitely needs a pg, but unfortunately Morris seems a tad bit slow has not fit in with the Kobe offense, so they have stuck with old man Fisher, who can't stop anyone unless he is set up in time to take the charge. Fisher also delivers the customary one rainbow three a game. Morris had his chance to play a little PG at the beginning of the season when Fish was still out of shape or even when 3 pt guy Steve Blake was hurt, but he got beat out by Andrew Goudelock who averages less than minutes a game.
