So after a looooong off-season, and watching last nights game live, I've decided it's time to shake up the roster, so off to the ESPN Trade Machine I go! Hopefully Joe reads PistonsForum.com and can make this happen.
If I had a magic (trade wand) I'd do this:
    NBA Trade Machine - ESPN
Unrealistic? Yeah, I know, but a guy can dream right?

I don't see Joe ever re-acquiring a player unless his name is Lindsey Hunter or Chucky Atkins.

I was trying to guess who it was Boss man... but after looking at the trade, I think he'd take this one back in a heartbeat. I would guess its the one guy he's sent awaay in the last 10 years he really loses sleep over.

JD does not lose sleep. He has great confidence over his decision making process.

The same way that the Hawks get 3 extra wins by acquiring Daye and BoT.

This is a win-win-win-win trade scenario. No brainer.

LOL. It's win-win-win-win for the Pistons and lose-lose-lose-lose for the other 3 teams.

    Oh man!
I saw that and thought the same thing.
I'm going to fire off an email to ESPN about this. I'll be sure to post it here when I get around to it.
I'm going on vacation next week and I plan to taking my computer to the beach. I'm making this a priority to point out this gross defect with the trade machine to the progammers at the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network.

It seems the problem has been fixed. When I looked at this trade, Hollinger has the Hawks winning 20 more games with Chaz and Daye on the team. I always knew those two have been phoning it in in Detroit

Here's another one to try on for size:
    NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Before everyone moans and groans about watching Jonas (my favorite Piston) leave for Z-Bo, consider this: Would you trade JJ for Z-Bo and Afflalo? many of us agree that it's just time fot Tay to GO AWAY! Most of us are OK with just giving him away for NOTHING! BoT, we can't get rid of fast enough, so the only piece we're actually giving up is JJ and we get a legit 20/10 PF in Z-Bo and Arron Afflalo. We now have a 3 big man rotation that consists of a Z-Bo playing all his minutes at PF, Drummond playing all his minutes at Center and GM playing PF/C. Our starting lineup:
    PG: Knight / Stuckey
    SG: Afflalo / Stuckey
    SF: Maggs/Singler/Middleton
    PF: Zac / Monroe
    C: Monroe / Drummond

I would trade JJ for Z-Bo straight up, any day of the week and twice on Sundays. That's a no brainer.

This is a good upgrade for the Magic as well and a salary dump for Grizz. It's the Kings that would need to be enticed by lottery picks etc.

Randolph is an injury worry. He is also stronger than Monroe and I would have him as my starting centre, rather than at PF.

What do you guys think of Tay and Stuck for Granger and a filler? Pacers want to fight for homecourt adv in the playoffs, and Grangers injury (knee, away for about 3 months) is not going to help them. Not to forget, he's 29 years old and they already have a rising star at the SF in George.

A year or two ago I would have loved this deal, I think his stock has slipped abit and its not our biggest need IMO now. We need a wing scorer like nobody's business. be it a SG or a SF.
