Singler deserves a B. Talk all you want about his defensive shortcomings but he outplayed a 5 year veteran and franchise golden child Rod Stuckey. He's a rookie for pete's sake.

I really liked Maggette's blurb. Bring him back.

I actually didn't mind Maggette at all. I think he was extremely professional in being essentially an expiring contract.

He best be. This guy is class and will someday command an organization. His name will go into a rather small card file.

I agree. I enjoyed not watching Maggette play more than watching Stuckey play.

Well, look at it this way...Mag would have won you more games and then JD would have had another major headache: keeping them both happy with renewed contracts.

I will always appreciate Coach Frank. What he did for Piston Nation is incomparable: He made the city believe again. I hope to see the Coach return for alumni night and get the round of applause he deserves from the city that he resurrected.

I appreciate Coach Frank not being the Piston's coach anymore, is that how this thread works? Gawd, even my 7 year old son could see that Andre Drummond was starter material on that roster, it took Frank half a season to see that.

Jason Kidd says assistant coach Lawrence Frank has been reassigned. Cites "different philosophies." Says it's "about basketball."

Personality clashes were part of J-Kidd/L-Frank breakup, but coaching styles/philosophies at the heart of the split. Just didn't mesh.

Not a lot of sympathy in coaching circles for Kidd. Lot of longtime coaches were put off by Nets anointing Kidd without experience.

It must be hard for a former head coach to be the assistant to a guy with absolutely no experience.

Frank probably thought hoped that he would be getting a shot at that HC job since they are struggling with Da Kidd, now he's been regulated to the doghouse locker room....he is probably is giving them their towels at halftime...

The Pistons last head coach was just banished from interacting with his new team and put on paperwork duty. He's a report maker now?

Just think about how many more plays Larry Brown has in his head than Jason Kidd. Big learning curve. It would be really hard to step into that job cold.
