Based on basketball skills...It might be time for him to move on.
Maybe the Pistons are interested in him as a coach.

V Goodwill is saying the Pistons aren't going to sign him because they wan't someone "younger". I don't know who they think they're going to sign for the 15th spot. They are not going to play a lot save for disaster.

Hopefully they also prefer someone who scores more than 4 points and collects more than 5 rebounds every 36 minutes.

Kyle Singler's rebounding rate is just as high.

There are lots of unknown big men in the D-League and in Europe that would be worth taking a chance on. Has Milwaukee signed TRG btw? Maybe he'll be freed up again.

From what I understand, he can't come back to Detroit for a year.

What kind of #'s are they going to put up as the 12th-15th man who only plays every couple of weeks?

Not every guy can handle that.

I agree. You have to pick someone who is hungry and just happy to be in the league. If you get a Jerebko, whose dad thinks he should be starting, then there may be unneeded friction.

Signing Collins could be a good PR move, but it isn't good basketball sense. The guy is average. Really average.

I would like to see Joe D. make a run at Chris Bosh. Now that the Heat have Oden, they won't need the Bostrich. Maybe we can trade them Sticky. With Wade being older and injury prone, they could sure use Wade 2.0.

I don't think the Heat are that dumb.

Oden is young and injury prone.

We really needed to keep Maxiell for this trade. With that silky jumper with range all the way out to the free throw line, no defense would be tempted to collapse in on the lane.

Wade and Stuckey are very similar. High level complaining about officiating. Lack of a credible jumpshot outside of 18 feet. Love of innefficent isos. I give Wade the edge with flopping and giving his teammates the angry eye just a little bit more often.

    Totally nailed it!

If Sticky could just sell that flopping to the refs, He would be truly insufferable.

Maybe the Ratiopharm Ulm will trade us Trent Plaisted for some equipment (shoes, warm up pants, and a couple ball racks).

Can anyone fill me in on what've happened during the last 7 days, any interesting news regarding the Pistons?

I represented Detroit Pistons in Greece by shooting some hoops with my flip-flops at the hotel's basketball court!

Fun fact - According to Ivan Johnson's Wiki-page, he have been "banned forever" from the Korean basketball league. He gave the ref the finger. He later did the same in Atlanta, and was fined $25.000.

Looks like he does a lot of "rude" stuffs and get a lot of fines. Maybe not someone we want on this team.
