Talked to 'Horn today about him and he really likes the deal along with Mitch Lawrence(NY Daily New). Veteran guard that can handle the floor. In fact, of all the deals, this one along with the D Stoudemire/Kurt Thomas trade to the Spurs are considered the best because it just completes the team's benches even better.

Flip fell in love with Jarvis. That is what really counts.

What do you mean by "Talked to 'Horn today"? You talked to Rick Mahorn? In person or on the phone?

Both guys would have to complete physicals. He is listed as one of the Pistons 12 active on the live box score.

Possibly, even though he isn't and never has been.

I don't really know the answer to that. I know DD, but don't really know what Magloire has been up to.

Anyone know off hand how significant the 300k savings in salaries between Dixon and Primo effects the lux tax limit?

i dunno - we also gave the raptors cash, so did we give them the amount to equal their salaries? if so, does that count against the luxury tax?

Cash doesn't count against the salary cap.

I agree with isn't but I believe the "never has been" statement is preposterous.

OK, there were those two years, five years ago, but even then Davis was the far superior defender and a moderately superior rebounder. Set better picks, too.

Primo sorta went off on Sam Vincent...

Check the embedded link...he had good things to say about Joe & the Pistons.

Inside the NBA: Brezec rips into Vincent

I knew that he was a little low in the steals department, but I didn't realize that he hadn't attempted any shots this year. Wow. That is some serious discrimination.
