i'm so glad i'm not a michigander drunk off of the Trey Burke koolaid. He is undersized, not NBA-explosive, and frankly can't guard any NBA caliber starting guards.

So was Tyler Hansbrough. College success doesn't always translate to NBA success. Just ask Tim Tebow.

So was Jimmer Fredette. So was Evan Turner. So was Jameer Nelson (another short, slow PG).

So was Kevin Durrant, Larry Bird, and Lew Alcinder.

The point is: Naismith Awards mean jack-crap when it comes to NBA stardom. Some guys are college stars and they become NBA stars. But most just become role players. Just like Trey Burke will be. He'll have a career, but will never make an All-Star Game. Unless he buys a ticket and sits in the stands.

Yes, unless your name is Lawrence Frank.

You've made a fairly bold prediction about Burke. I admire that. I'm guessing that since you're from Milford, you went/ are going to MSU. :)

I'm guessing that Jimmer has been thrown onto the also-ran pile with Burke.........:)

Just saying that it doesn't take a homer to expect great things from him. based on actual performance, he was the best ncaa player last year. He's favored to win roy even after his late pick, which is highly unusual.

    Lawrence Tech, actually.

Don't act like you're not impressed.
