Yeah, good example. He is probably the last guy to do it for the Pistons and turn what wouldn't have been a career into a solid one. 269 NBA starts puts you above the average I would say.

Maybe Will Bynum will be a terrible coach one day.

Even though Dumars hasn't made any spectacular moves but i think Steve Kerr has him beat for the worst GM in the NBA title.

I think I am having buyers remorse when it comes to the BG and CV pickups. Especially CV, I thought we picked him up at a value salary, but something just tells me we are going to regret it.

Outside of the Twittering he does (and we all know it won't be long before JD reprimands him for it) I can't think of anything that makes me feel like this. Maybe I fear, his numbers are skewed because he played for a bad team during a contract year.

To answer the question, I don't think we will be better then last year. BUT.. I think this is a good start to get us where we need to be in 3 to 5 years. Let's face it, as fans we have come to expect WAY to much out of our Pistons year to year. They need to have a few bad season so they can get good again. The city of Detroit is NOT NYC, LA or Miami, so getting superstar Free agents isn't an easy sell. JD has to be more creative and I think given time we will be back on top of the league.

We had better get this post to Joe D quick. After reading the Doc's misgivings, I'm sure he is going to want to make use of that 90 day return policy pronto.:bolt:

Could be due to a summer of watching him get slammed. I am confident that once the season starts we will be glad to have him.

30days until training camp starts, this is driving me crazy!!! Good thing the Tigers are in a playoff race or I don't know what I would do.

We've never seen our coach coach a game. We have a bunch of new players with no real idea if we they will even have chemistry. There still appears to be a lot of holes in our roster. With that being said, there is no way to predict with any type of accuracy what we have personnel wise or how many wins we will amass. If our coach is a lemon, he can squander even the best talent. Welcome to the land of mediocrity where nothing is certain, but uncertainty. We've been spoiled.

I'll tell you who has been spoiled. Motown Pride. He is so spoiled, we can't even bribe him with cash money to grace us on the podshow. Shameless!

CV has done well with his Dominican team... I'm starting to warm up to him (still a lazy defender)... worse case is that scorers will always be tradable... his contract isn't bad considering his age.

Yea, and that's 33.6 points and 14.4 rebounds per 48 minutes.
