    Uh oh!

    Screw #9!
    TRADE DOWN JOE!
Get 2 1st rounders for the price of one and play the odds that one of these picks will turn into something special.

So far what have we learned:
...John Hensen is a lock to go to the Pistons at #9.
...Arnette Moultrie already has a handshake agreement with the Pistons.
...Tyler Zeller is the most pro-ready big man that will be available for Detroit.
...Andre Drummond just might slip to the 9th spot. He's either a steal or the biggest bust in the draft.
...Perry Jones has the biggest upside out of anyone that is expected to be available (and the biggest downside).
...Meyers Leonard is a physical specimen and is just what the Pistons need!
...Jared Sullinger is the best scoreing big in the draft.

There is absolutely no consensus that any of these guys is the clear-cut best prospect. All of them have their positive and negative attributes. I want Joe to investigate any and all possibilities of trading down in the first round to secure an additional pick. It's possible that by giving another team "the pick of the litter" of the guys that I mentioned (as well as others), the Pistons could end up with TWICE the odds of seeing their first round selection turn out to be an all-star who contributes in Detroit for years to come. Better yet, maybe we get TWO guys that contribute as good or better than #9.

If there isn't a deal to be done, ok.
But at least check into it.
