It is quite bunched up in the standings, but they are only 2 games behind 3rd place right now. 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season League Standings - National Basketball Association - ESPN
I only look at the wins, since losses are kind of the default. I don't see Washington winning four more games than Detroit.
Wasn't sure where I should put this, but in a thread on one of the worst months in Pistons history seems appropriate. So I've been off the forum since about the first week of February as I moved apartments and can't know results before I watch games. I've just caught up with the win over the Bobcats. Someone should have sent me an email, letter or even a homing pigeon to tell me not to have wasted my time watching the games!!! The last 3 games of the 10 game losing stretch I'd had enough of the jumpy playback on the international NBATV (happens with any game older than a few days) and the horrific losses, so only watched the condensed versions. Here is a few thoughts I have stuck in that time - the others are lost in the amnesia brought on by severe levels of watching mediocraty: Monroe still can't defend (even to the point of running away from people dunking!!) and is still dominated on offence by anyone bigger or more athletic. Stuckey still sucks. BoT is still a turd filled bucket. Bynum adds nothing. Maxiell - starting centre?!?! Really?!?! BK7 and Jordan - ouch. At least he tried to block (IM TALKING TO YOU MONROE!!) Brian Hill has no more idea of how to get this team to play together. We need more vets and lots of less dead weight. We suck worse than I thought we did.
