You all make it sound like you would not bolt. Unless you know for sure that you would not go away from your present job to get a job that pays 3 times more shut up. Everyone has an ego. It not possible for anyone to not have that voice in the back of your head saying this will be good for you.

People dont know how good they have it until it is gone. This year we all learned how great it was to once have arguably the best coach in NBA history. Flip and the group collapsed and it will be very long till this team has a top coach in the history of basketball.

This year we will see how lucky we were to be fans of arguably the best starting 5 of the history of this league now that its gone.

Shut up with Chauncey is old, Chauncey is selfish. STFU because he is the best PG the Pistons have had in more than a decade. We wont get Chris Paul, we will not get Devin Harris. Who do you want to trade him for? Just like LB and Ben we wont realize what one of the top Pistons gaurds of all time did for us until he is out of town.

These Chauncey Billups threads are out of hand when they get insulting and personal. This is not the forum we aspire to be.

What about all the other M V P candidates?? Dirk, LeBron, Steve, Kobe. They also got beat in the playoffs. So Why so hard on Chauncy? Why don't we trash the others too? I think most fans like Chauncey a lot. He is well spoken and smart. What should he have done? Cut himself down? And remember he is a pretty unselfish player. He could take more shots to get his numbers up, but he shares the ball.

Not too mention how many of these Chauncey threads there are. It's like the collective consciousness of this forum turned the laser from Ben to Chauncey in the last week.

Then again, it is the offseason. Summer League is over, the only happening basketball is the World Championships (no Piston represented  ), and that not until Aug. 19.

After we fry and/or levitate Chauncey, we're bound to move on to Tay and Rip, which is going to make for some very mild debate. We might get some more mileage out of Sheed.

I think our only recourse is to spend more time in the general NBA section of the forum, talking about other teams and players for a while. I'm going to start a little thread over there called "Non-Pistons who might have Pistons DNA.":eyebrows:

    But:
    Dirk went to the finals
Bron almost witnessed his own beating of CB and his Pistons.
Steve struck fear in Dirks team.
Kobe almost got over on Steve.
CB is ours, you can "smack" your own.

One thing I hate about Jerry Stackhouse is his shot selection. His shot selection might be the worst in the NBA.
