Boban doesn't fit with a running team, we'd have to play a more traditional half court eastern style.

Baynes obviously doesn't have the hops to outjump most of his opponents so if you actually watch the games you'll see him working on boxing out his man, which allows the other guys to come in and get the rebound - as Laimbrane displayed with his numbers. He has poor hands but the guards trying to thread him a tricky pass in traffic need to recognise this and not make that pass.

Why the Detroit Pistons may not let Aron Baynes go easily

So then we'd bring Dre off the bench with Ish. I like your thinking.

It's odd, I thought Reggie did an ok job of pushing the ball until I watched Ish.

Seems like the Pistons play with a twenty EIGHT second shot clock with Ish running the show.
Reggie spends a lot of time cleaning off the bottom of his shoes and screwing around before getting the Piston offense into their sets.

I like Baynes, he and KCP are the only ones who :victory:give 100 percent on the floor.

Sometimes be careful what you are wishing for.

The grass is not always greener on the other side, even that it might pass the "eye test".

Baynes is one of the best reserve centers in the league. He would start on more than a couple of teams. He's at least as physical as Dre. I've heard people complain about his size, but he's 6'10 in bare feet. He's 6'11.5 in shoes. Most guys listed in the NBA at 6'11- 7'0 are actually his size. I believe that he's a half of an inch taller than Ellenson. He's not a shot blocker, but he is one of the best shot challengers out there. He probably gets away with more contact in the restricted area than 90% of the bigs in the league simply because he's so good at going straight up and down. He moves vertically without initiating contact.

He's a really solid player. I think that it's unlikely that they will be able to retain him.
