I'm not saying they should fire the guy or anything. I just think Mike Abdenour is underrated.

Mike is highly thought of around the league too.... the fans/boards just like to talk about the "sexy" stuff and banana's is much more sexy then wrapping the ankles with tape.

In NO way is Mike Abdenour underated in my book.
You saw what happened when he left for Philly.

The team colors changed and the Pistons went into the tank for years!

I'll admit that a thread about tape probably wouldn't have so much activity on it.

He's the trainer AND color coordinator? Does he have a fashion degree?

You know what I think happened? When Mike left, the color picking duties were transfered to Kander.

He would have surely gone with Tie Dye.

I'm guessing because Kander doesn't cover him in the D-league.

    Maybe for money.

Maybe he gets a break on his insurance if he signs with these guys.

Maybe signing means they are paying him to promote their product.

Yeah, I'd hazzard a guess that Alex Acker's endorsement list isn't exactly "Jordanesque".

I think he has now has this EPM contract and a deal with a bail-bond place in Novi.

This is one dinged up squad.

Sheed aggravating his injury after getting the all-clear from AK?

I think the patients may be on to the placebos.

I apologize in advance, but my profession enforced definition of "placebo" is "having no chemical method of action or therapeutic activity".

It's not not like Kander is rubbing sugar packets on Hamilton's groin. There is in fact an internal chemical content in Arnie's preparations that could for the purposes of this debate be viable in it's current context.

Truth is, as far as we have come medicinally, there is still much the medical community hasn't completely come to grips with, especially in the realm of folk remedies.

If the application of frozen banana to Richard's body results in the increase of certain neurochemicals that are crucial to the healing process in his body, is such an application still a placebo by definition?

    Thats the real question here.

OK, I'll drop the placebo terminology and go with "questionably effective neurochemical exciter" to be more accurate.

I see a new marketing opportunity for the Palace. T-shirts that say "Banana Hammer" on the front and "Rip me a new one" on the back...graphics TBD
