Time to play MAD SCIENTIST. Let's say you have the ability to create a player based on the genes of other players with the goal of creating the greatest Piston team ever assembled. Here's the rules: 1)The players to be used must have worn a Pistons jersey at some point in their careers 2)You can only use up to 3 players for an individual player creation 3)You can only create 6 players (one at every position:C, PF, SF, SG, PG and a bench player) Let's get this started! PG - Isiah BingUps ~ Super Competitior (Combination of Isiah Thomas, Dave Bing and Chauncey Billups) Isiah's heart, leadership, ball-handling, and passing ability Dave Bing's offensive explosiveness Chauncey Big Shot and Post ability SG - Joe HamilHouse ~ Ultimate Scorer (Combination of Joe Dumars, Richard Hamilton, and Jerry Stackhouse) Joe's defensive ability and three point accuracy Rip's endurance and mid range jump shot Stackhouse athletic ability SF - Dennis DantHill ~ Complete Player (combination of Dennis Rodman, Adrian Dantly, and Grant Hill) Rodman's defensive ability and energy Adrian's ability to get to the line Grant's athleticism and triple double threat PF - Ben DeBussHorn ~ Defensive Intimidator (combination of Ben Wallace, Dave DeBusschere and Rick Mahorn) Ben's Shot Blocking, Rebounding, Conditioning Dave's Rebounding, Well-Rounded Game and Intensity Rick's Intimidation, Girth, and Attitude C- Sheed Laimbnier ~ Skilled Big Man (combination of Rasheed Wallace, Bill Laimbeer and Bob Lanier) Rasheed's passing ability, basketball IQ, and post game Bill's outside shot and defensive toughness Bob's physical dominance, scoring and rebounding Bench Player - Vinnie Rodmanson ~ Super Spark (combination of Vinnie Johnson, Dennis Rodman and Corliss Williamson) Vinnie's instant offense off the bench Rodman's defensive intensity, energy and rebounding Corliss's consistent clutch postgame and physical presence This exercise was alot more difficult than I envisioned!
If I had to pick one of your morphed players I'd have to go with the Sheed, Laim, Lanier trio. Ya know Darko was supposed to be a combination of size and strength (Wilt), shooting skills (Dirk), and handles (Zeke)... he actually played PG on his junior team before he grew several inches (per Chad Ford) WiltDirZeke?... well, back to the lab.
Charko Demboford This would be the quintessential Piston 12th man. A combination of Chuck Nevitt, Darko Milicic, Fennis Dembo and William Bedford.
I would basically agree with everything, but instead of Corliss I would put in Dyess' he hes an amazing turnaround on the baseline.
ha..ha... LMAO! That's GOOD! I think I will use that from now on. The quintsessntial scrub..... CHARKO DEMBOFORD! I likey.
Good lineup, like the names but you forgot Bison Dele he had a morphed name without combining players.
Coach Any good team needs a good coach. Let's go with.... Chuck BrownTale (combination of Chuck Daly, Larry Brown, Dicky Vitale) What a mix that would be...
PG position I love that combo of Zeke, Bing, and Chauncey, in my opinion a player of that calibur could do anything he wanted at any given time during the course of any part of the season or game. Zeke is definitely the most talented though out all 3. But Chauncey has proven to me to be extremely clutch and smart.
Dicky V I initially had just %%%% Vitale, but theMicrowave's filters forced me to lengthen it to Dicky.
BillLaimbeer I can just see that Frankencoach: A loud mouthed maniac with glasses and a funny hairstyle jumping up and down screaming at the refs in his fashion designer diapers. :suspiciou
A coach on a leather throne, with too much makeup and terrible fashion sense. It's so funny it's sad.
