Phone app seems to work just fine. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
The fridge app seems to be working just fine, too. Sent from my 21.0 cu. ft. Kenmore Refrigerator #62152
Ok, so you guys see the new text editor. Smilies are hidden behind this button Many of the other changes are on the backend but there is another new front end feature. You can "watch" forums for new posts and new threads. I basically updated EVERYTHING today. I still have some stuff to tidy up tomorrow, but I don't think the forum has ever been so organized and clean under the hood.
I reset the user titles to reflect achievements unlocked by posting and gaining likes. I like likes because they reflect that people enjoyed your content. Some people still have custom titles, which I will probably pull in a couple days. Most Posts Most Likes Most Points (used to generate title) For some of you guys who are boss tier, I am will work on adding more achievements as we get closer to the season.
I understood the Most Posts and Most Likes categories, so.... I clicked on something called "Most Points". Not sure how I've earned points, but it must have something to do with my amazing predicting ability........
When looking at 'Members on line" it stated 2 members, 15 guests, and 8 robots. Have some members been reclassified?
How does it classify me?
I would upgrade you to "doubtful."
You didn't have to change your avatar just to thought of as a robot....
More about the new editor (where you type stuff) @ User tagging While not directly related to the editor change, this is probably the best time to mention it. You can use @roscoe36 style syntax to tag users in a post: Tagged users will receive an alert when they're tagged. Examples: @Slippy @Nemo @BillLaimbeer @TaS --------------- Auto save drafts While you are typing a message, every X seconds (currently 60), a draft of your message will be saved. If you reload the page later, your message will be automatically re-shown. Drafts will be automatically pruned over time. Each draft is associated with a particular piece of content, such as a thread, forum, or conversations. A draft reply that you start working on in thread 1 will not be shown to thread 2 and so forth. You can save a draft (say if you have to walk away and want to finish posting later) and you can delete a saved draft. If you've ever had a long post "eaten" by a forum when you tried to post it, this should help prevent that from happening.
Cool features, @roscoe36 !
ROSCOE36 IS A GOOD USER.
I noticed the saving of drafts earlier today, nice new feature.... I think we have missed out on a few of Lee's epic posts because they got lost before he would post them.... so a service to the world has been done..... Looking forward to a nice long novel about why AA and Amir should be starting still for Detroit.
@coynejeremy Did you get an alert for this post?
More downtime scheduled for upgrades tomorrow (Mon Sept 30th 2013) between 9 and 11 am Pacific (GMT 16:00~18:00) I will be patching Xenforo to the latest version, upgrading some subsystems, and taking backups (the most time consuming part of the process). We should be back and ready to go by noon Pacific.
And we're back up. Everything should be on track. Please report any issues you may notice. Thanks in advance.
Drath Tater still seems to be a member...
Yeah, what's up with that? Roscoe promised this was going to be worth it.
Darth is not an issue. He is a cultural icon. A hero of the Republic, recently reformed from his villainous and tyrannical ways towards the light, commisioneering a fantasy hockey league and being kind to everyone, animal, vegetable and mineral.
