Two Spurs make the list, Finley (amnesty money from Dallas a big factor) and Tiny Tim Duncan.

Shaq also makes the top 10, with $14 million in endorsements.

It's obvious that basketballers and baseball players are the big winners in terms of overall.

No Pistons made the list, but I imagine that Ben will next year. Endorsement opportunities should be abundant for "the Fro" in the Windy City, at least in his first year.

Losers on the court/field but probably winners from a marketing standpoint.

Wow. Interesting list. I wouldn't have expected Phil to be second, or the first football player on the list to be Carson Palmer.

As for hockey players not being on there, the 24% salary rollback sure didn't help their cause any. Neither did the salary cap, or per player cap.

No wonder Ben and probably Billups next year want the high dollar$$. With B Grant, Van Horn, Hardaway, Eddie Jones and Rose all getting $15M plus per season just in salaries, with no rings to show for it, I can see their points.

This is a list that probably makes some current so called superstars angry and they will have their agents on the phone looking for the payouts on both salary and endorsements to match and exceed what is shown here.
