I think that Flip is on the hot seat by taking the Detroit job. So how do you think the Pistons will finish under Flip in 2005/6?
Playing for Flip will give the Pistons a "complete roster". It was bad enough that LB only played 7 men during the Finals, but to have completely "ignored" 25% of the "Euro" roster during the regular season he also wore out his starters. Guys like Arroyo, Darko and Delfino (after he was cleared to play) and even Dupree could have come in and given Tay, Rip, Billups and the Wallaces some rest during the season as well as get the necessary playing time to develop their games. LB's refusal to work with the bench was his biggest downfall this year. Flip will use the regular season to ready this team and get his system in place. The nice thing about the Pistons is that they are professionals who will be ready to compete no matter who their coach is. I think his willingness to develop the young guys and work with the bench will really help keep the Vets and Starters fresh come playoff time. GO PISTONS !!!!
