Sports radio 1130 is going to have an interview with Flip at 3:00 P.M. tommorow.
I probably won't be around. I would love to listen to this. Good score himat!
Does anyone here have the tech know-how to record streaming audio? Or is it likely this will be posted at mLive?
Yeah, anybody, I would love to hear Flip and how he's preparing for camp and the season and how he's reached out to the other players but I'm way way way out here.
I don't know how to record it like micro is asking, but you can just stream the station and listen to it live on your computer. Just go to wdfn.com and follow the instructions. Basically, you just sign up.
oh I just remembered. From 6-7 PM they usually replay all of there interviews with people they had on the radio that day, and since I live right here in michigan I should be able to listen to it. I'll tell you guys what Flip said.
cool, sounds like Flip's going to be on Stony and Wojo at 3pm.
i'm going to try to record the interview.....i can't promise i'll make it home in time, but i'll try
Coming on soon I hope!
i'm home now......as long as the interview isn't in the late part of the show, i should be able to record and host it. stony and wojo are usually good about asking tought questions, so i hope it's a great interview!
oh, he's in studio and will be taking phone calls......for about an hour! yikes, i better clear some HD space....:P
Remember that from 6-7 they replay all the interviews so you, or anyone else can record it then.Because I think I just missed it.
himat its on right now.
yeah, the 6-7pm show is called Sports Talk Soup, where they recap the most interesting segments of the day.
btw, i'm just going to record it in one big file....i won't be in front of my desktop the entire time to stop/start between commercials.
I don't know. He sounds like he's going down the Cola's road of only playing to player's strengths. That will bother me if he doesn't have a commitment to making players improve their overall game.
He sounds like he's sold on zone defenses. I won't be able to call in, but I hope someone brings up the not double teaming Shaq issue.
Low, he's said before (can't remember where) that you only double Shaq if you want to lose.
OK, I'm listening to the interview now (commercial break) and I'm thinking Flip's voice sounds familiar. It was really bugging me. Then...it hit me.
Is it just me or does he sound like WAYNE FONTES??? (Not in substance...just the sound of his voice). lol
I must have missed that. That's a relief for me. I'll have to wait for talk soup or get home and check my recording.
NOTE: If you don't have it...Replay Radio. Sweetest thing ever.
Flip just said the one thing I did not want to hear: "He's alot like Toni Kukoc".....great.
..crap, I gotta drive back to work from lunch just as the phone calls start. I'll probably get myself all worked up anyway.
his assessment that Darko was a great passer and needed to move without the ball was more than I've ever heard LB say about him. maybe LB knew these things already, but just hearing Flip talk about Darko's strengths was enough for me to know that Darko will respond better to him than he ever did with LB.
Low, think Daddy Rich. Pray he will be Daddy Rich. I'm praying brother. He has to be Daddy Rich re-incarnated, or we might be in trouble.
hey, how well does Replay Radio work with scheduled recordings? do you use it often? i downlaoded a freeware online radio recorder that's real basic...no scheduled recordings.
