Well the Lions totally tanked this season. Schwartz is totally the blame. Just a season rife with crappy play.
The Bears still can't protect the QB and our pass rush is average.
Bears Dee can still score TDs as they helped many in fantasy scoring ~300 pt !
All they have to do is wait out Stafford and he'll give them something. If Staff doesn't do it someone else will. Just give them the ball !
I would like to see Tron reach 2100 yd receiving. But for him to do it during such a sad season makes me want to bag my head.
I'm pretty sure Lions want a 3 pick.

I think we are going to win this one and put the bears playoff hopes to bed.

I've watched many Lion games and rarely if ever saw a dirty shot. Ok Will Gay poked a Packer QB in the eye, very bad. Nothing else. Suh is the first I've seen do some naughty stuff. And that was a retaliation.

Dirtiest team : Jets by far, then Redskins but not so much lately.

Kansas City and Jacksonville will draft #1 and #2. They are both 2-13.

The Lions are in a 3-way tie with Philly and Oakland at 4-11. There are 4 teams tied at 5-10, so a win could really hurt draft positioning(which is exactly why the Lions will probably win today).

    The Lions host the Bears.
    The Eagles visit the Giants.
    The Raiders visit the Chargers.

Bears are desperate and the Lions suck.

    Bears 49 - Lions 13

Maybe, but the Lions are playing like a bunch of lost lambs.

Somethin's gotta give, besides all of Stafford's fumbles.

The Lions have had a few bad breaks this year, but they have more talent than 4-11. That tells me that Schwartz is NOT getting the job done. I would be okay with a coaching change.

Give the Lions credit for battling today.

The Lions were close...but the same mistakes/turnovers that have plague this team for the last 20 years, got them again and a possible victory turns into another close loss. The good is that they once again get a possible high draft pick to add to this mess, the bad is that they could not get Megatron the yards in the end that would have put him over 2000 and at least would have been a moral victory for the fans who paid to witness this mess of a team.

8 straight losses should = fire coach, but we will see what happens... Hopefully the Vikings beat Packers so both the Giants and Bears can watch the playoffs with the Lions...

Lions finished 4-12. 8 losses in a row. I don't mind the term battling being used, since they kept the penalties down.
Turnovers cost them the game. Seems to me though Bill.....that there's more bungling going on...than battling.

Lions won't take Andy Reid...he's through as an effective coach. He lived off of Ray Rhodes defensive players
in his early years, and has done nothing since.

Look for the Lions to go college...if they make a change.

I look for the Lions to make a coaching change within 72 hours...........

They'll take their time searching for a new candidate.

What an anticlimactic ending to this game. Bears run out 4:50 to snuff us out?

This team wasted a lot of talent this year with the fumbling.

My perfect scenario for the off-season:

    (1) Draft Luke Joeckel with the #5 pick. If not, pick up Bjoern Werner, aka "the germinator."

    (2) Draft Eric Reid in the 2nd round.

    (3) Franchise tag Louis Delmas

    (4) Release Stephen Peterman and Gosder Cherilus. Go hard after Andy Levitre and Jarius Byrd in FA.

    (5) Re-sign Chris Houston and our entire LB corp.
