    Ookie (1) v webz wreckerz (4)

    Yahoo's Projection - 101.47 v 97.30

    QB -
    Manning (12)
    v
    Brady (1)

Despite not having a tremendous season, Eli Manning has managed to keep the Giants winning. This week he takes on WASHINGTON (23rd pass defense) and will be looking for a good game. Looking at some of his stats doesn't paint a great picture. He hasn't thrown for 300 yards since Week 6. He has thrown multiple INT's in 5 games. And he hasn't thrown multiple TD's since Week 7. If there was ever a time he needed to have a big week - it's this one.

Tom Brady on the other hand has been having an out of this world season. Almost certain to break Peyton Manning's TD record he faces a suprisingly solid NEW YORK JETS pass defense (11th). Back in Week 1 against the Jets Brady recorded 297 yards and 3 TD's. webz will be hoping for more of the same this time.

    WR -
    Johnson (7), Edwards (3), Burleson (14)
    v
    Holt (13), Marshall (12), Cotchery (36)

Chad Johnson has had another fantastc season going for nearly 1200 yards and 6 scores. He has only failed to reach 50 yards once this season and has been a model of consistency. However, that does not tell the whole story. Half of his 6 TD's came in 1 game and last week
he only managed 2 receptions. He faces SAN FRANCISCO (16th) this week and will be looking for a big game.

Braylon Edwards has had a breakout season. His 13th TD last week tied him for the franchise record. He has a great chance of holding that record on his own as he faces BUFFALO (28th) this week. He only had 3 receptions last week but one of them was a score and he has a TD in
all but 4 games. A bounce-back week appears likely.

Nate Burleson has definitely been a beneficiary of teammate Hackett being out. His last 2 weeks have seen 121 total yards and 2 TD's. If Hackett returns this week it could spell disaster as he would again take a backseat. He faces CAROLINA (12th).

Torry Holt has faced a lot of diversity this season, but has somehow come through with flying colours. His QB situation is as problematic as any you'll find and he has battled through knee problems, but that hasn't stopped him putting up over 1000 yards. Even with Brock Berlin last week he had 8 catches and 90 yards. Only 6 TD's on the season is a concern and he takes on GREEN BAY (15th) this week.

Brandon Marshall had his best game as a pro last week with 10 catches, 115 yards and 2 TD's. He has certainly benefited from Javon Walker being out and Denver's rush offense having issues. That said, Walker is likely to see more action this week which could be a downer on Marshall's value. He lines up against HOUSTON (14th).

webz picked up Jerricho Cotchery at the start of the week off waivers after he was expected to sit out the rest of the season. Instead, he returned last week and went off for 119 yards against the Browns. This week will be a tougher test against 6th ranked pass defense NEW ENGLAND (6th). He only has 1 score on the season but he has shown he is more than capable of picking up some big yards. With Laveranues Coles hurting he should be the number 1 target this week.

    RB -
    Johnson (44), Addai (4)
    v
    Parker (12), McGahee (7)

Another 4 solid RB's face off here, and this will probably come down to matchups this week.

Rudi Johnson is the healthiest he has been since early in the season and has once again taken over as Cincinnati's number 1 RB. He has picked up a TD in each of the past 3 weeks and will be looking to build even further on his resurgence against SAN FRANCISCO (25th against the run). His yards per carry haven't been spectacular (3.0) but he shouldn't have any trouble finding some gaps this week.

Joseph Addai will have a dream matchup this week as he takes on OAKLAND (31). Addai has certainly cemented himself as one of the top RB's in the game this season with 14 total scores. The only concern for Ookie is his yardage totals. He hasn't cracked 80 yards in each of his last 5 games. But if the TD's keep coming in bunches like last week's 3 TD effort against Baltimore, the lack of yards will likely not matter.

Willie Parker this week faces JACKSONVILLE (5th), a very solid rush defense. Parker is a bit of an anomaly among RB's. He leads the entire league in total rush yards but has only 2 scores. He had an excellent game last week against the Patriots and will be looking to build on that this week. A TD would be very timely for webz team this week.

Willis McGahee last week had his 7 game TD streak broken against the Colts and had a disappointing week going for only 45 rushing yards, no TD and a fumble. All this a week after he torched the Patriots for 159 total yard and a score. webz will be hoping this is the McGahee that turns up this week. Helping his cause is the 32nd and last ranked rush defense MIAMI.

    TE -
    Gonzalez (3)
    v
    Witten (2)

Tony Gonzalez has compiled a very nice season in Kansas City. He is only 46 yards away from topping 1,000 on the season and has scored 5 times. His past 2 weeks have been exceptionally strong with 17 catches, 216 yards and a score. However, he will face a more difficult matchup
    this week against TENNESSEE (8th).

Jason Witten exploded last week for a franchise record 15 receptions and a career high 138 yards. He has become one of Tony Romo's most reliable options and usually beneifts from all the attention put on Owens from opposing defenses. He is also only 45 yards away from 1,000 and will have a good chance of cracking that against PHILADELPHIA (18th) this week. In Week 9 he posted 77 yards and a score against the Eagles.

    K -
    Dawson (8)
    v
    Crosby (1)

Another 2 highly ranked kickers in this matchup and both have fairly favourable matchups. Phil Dawson faces BUFFALO (30th overall defense) while Mason Crosby faces ST LOUIS (18th overall defense).
Both guys have capable offenses so both have the potential for decent weeks. However, one would think this isn't the matchup that decides this semi-final.

    DEF -
    Seattle (3)
    v
    New York Giants (6)

Both Ookie and webz have top defenses so matchups may play a big part to see if either guy can find an advantage.

Seattle had a huge week last week, terrorising Arizona to the tune of 23 fantasy points. Granted, the Cardinals aren't one of the top offenses but this week Ookie finds his defense playing a much worse offense in CAROLINA (29th overall offense). However, the Panthers don't have a
pass-crazy QB like Kurt Warner so one would assume they won't pick up another 5 INT's. They should still have a solid week.

webz' waiver pickup last week, the New York Giants, filled in admirably while his regular defense, the Steelers were benched against NE. In fact, he has decided to stick with the Giants again this week as they have a slightly better matchup against 17th overall offense WASHINGTON. With the Redskins QB situation a little shaky right now, it could be a good decision. The Giants lead the league in Sacks and at this point in the season, every point counts.

    May the best team win!
