    SOME UPDATES:

    * I finalized the teams. We have an 8-team league.
    * I added two new positions: a 2nd quarterback and a 2nd flex (RB/WR/TE)
    * I changed the scoring for receptions to 1.0 point per reception

With only 8 teams, having two more active players will shore up the player pool a little bit. Having a 2nd quarterback seems like a fun idea (thanks to theeTFD for the suggestion). Upping the PPR from 0.5 to 1.0 will equalize players a little bit so quarterbacks aren't too much of a premium.

    * The draft is currently set for next Sunday, August 11 at 8pm EST.

Let me know if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.

    Have a nice day.

    :hoops:

Thanks for doing that early. It helps a lot. At first I was bummed about going 7th but it actually should work out pretty well.

Why rush the draft? Let's see a little pre-season first.

    8/25 would be cool

Sorry I couldn't play again this season - still on the road. Thanks to Bill for sorting it. I'll return next season.

How could I not win a gold last season? There needs to be an investigation.

Running backs on roster all year...with their pre- draft values this season

    Doug Martin (2)
    C j Spiller (3)
    Jamaal Charles (5)
    Matt Forte (13)

    Wide receivers :

    Calvin Johnson (6)
    Vincent Jackson (33)

Did I have an awesome draft or what??? 4 of the top ranked 6 players this year. Which means my guys were awesome. How did you knock me out in the semi finals, Mossy? Well, I know the answer to that, but I still probably won't take preventative action this year. Alas, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. :)

It's about to be on like Donkey Kong this season...............if I can draft well on Sunday.

You made some great picks last time. It will be interesting.

I will be sitting on a train during the draft. I hope the connection is good enough.

I hope it isn't.youve already won around three golds in a row, I think. The rest of us need an equalizer. Besides, I like to "know" my fantasy opponents and their habits. You draft wisely, but the difference between you and your opponents is that you are really good at picking up free agents and working the wire. Plus a wee bit of lady luck that gets you just enough to get you the You are hearing it from one who has been there. I offer my Sincere salutations and admiration to you, sir.... :)

But I still hope the train messes your draft up. Especially since you are sandwiched between my picks.

This is the first time I saw this post. Now I need to make some major changes. I'm glad I caught it at least.

Yeah, I knew the draft date and time changed but somehow overlooked the other one. I was lucky. I made a typo today And was not going to correct it then on second thought I decided I should. Whew. I would have adjusted on the fly but Knowing makes it a lot easier. However, due to my oversight, I will be throwing away a lot of paper and rethinking this. That little typo saved me. See, it pays to be dumb sometimes. Well… Some people take that statement very liberally. I don't need to name names. You know who you are! *cough Jammer, Linwood, Slippy, Fishy*.

I could have coughed out a couple other names but that would be too close to home for them* LOL.

Don't confuse Drath....not like it is very hard to do.

The draft is only 2.5 days away.

    34. Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew -- Pettigrew has commonly been viewed as a late-round value pick in recent years, without good reason. He's never finished above 11th among fantasy tight ends in his four-year career, and nor has he demonstrated any semblance of big-play ability. Reggie Bush will curtail Pettigrew's usage as a checkdown target. He is not worth drafting.

    Which one isn't worth drafting?
