Yahoo predicted you would get 73.38. You scored 51.24. Yahoo was about 22 points Too low. You expected 98 points. You missed by 25 to high. Sounds like your math formula missed by more than theirs. Sounds like Im not the only one in need of a math tutor. :)

The projections are pretty off, especially this time of year. His one guy, Moore, has been averaging about 15 points per week the last month, but the projections said he would get 4 points.

The point was that Yahoo's projection system is not good. When I guy averages over 15 points for 4-5 weeks, then a good statistical model would project him for about 15 points, not 4.

    Anyhow, nemo

If you use Yahoos system, you have hope for two more days.

Your way...well...lets Just say you need to hope that Abadulah Ali Yabbadabbadoolah is piloting Laimbeer's team plane if you plan to make the playoffs. :)

Bill is right. The projections are wrong. I really don't pay attention to them anyways.

You never needed a math tutor. I just needed a new QB.
Remember, my formula was based on history. Yahoo uses a Quiji Board.

Me....of course. My team didn't play. Been that kind of year for me.
They finished 2nd in fantasy defense this season. Picked them up in the 14th round.
ESPN gave my draft an A+. My team kinda turned out like the Eagles though.
    All promise and no delivery.

NFC championship is Darth (2) vs. Cowardly. Lions (3).

AFC Championship Mowgli (1) vs TBD

Great drama. Can Laimbeer's (5) four guys get about 54 points to secure the last playoff berth over Detteam (4)? I think I will keep an eye on the scoreboard. I'll bet those two are a case of nerves right now! Lol.

Lame's Legends almost pulled it out. That was a close playoff matchup.

I have an uphill battle this week since I probably just lost Dez Bryant for the season and RGIII status is unknown. That may have killed my season.

Lame would have won it in the 4th quarter but all the starters got pulled due to the blowout.

I think you'll get revenge on me and pull the upsrt this year Cowardly (after I upset you in the first round last year).
Your team has been smoking hot.

    Predictions:

Gold: Cowardly (upsets Darth then Mowgli). Even though I finished with the most points My team peaked too early, I think.

Silver: Mowgli (found a way to grab 1st place.

    Bronze: Darth

Left out: Detteam (No offense. You scored a lot of points and could just as easily beat me down with Rogers again but you cooled off the last month...until yesterday.

Note: These were the four best regular season teams. They're all loaded with talent. All could win gold just as easily as they could go empty handed. You could play this 100 times and all of us would take gold 25 times. It's just a matter of which one of us get lucky and have the fantasy gods smile upon us.

I beg to disagree. Winning the 1st round by such a small margin after 3 consecutive losses means my luck has finally turned around

I like this from the Yahoo recap:

"...The playoff win was notable, with the 2.40-point margin of victory being the sixth-smallest recorded in the league this season. This close call avenges a 99.48 - 97.92 tight loss to Lame's Legends back in Week 8."

Stupid me I couldn't decide if I should use the Cincinatti or St. Louis. I chose incorrectly as Cincy got 23 last night. That likely cost me about 15-20 points and perhaps the match. Now watch me pick the wrong quarterback.

Cowardly, you has some bad luck earlier this year. Mavericks picked the wrong guys on his team against you too. Looks like your fortunes mAy have changed at the right time! :p boo hiss!!

The Eagles really suck........I'd hate to be a fan of theirs.
The Law Firm got 17 points against those guys.

Yes, but it could be worse. They could suck AND only have won one playoff game in the last half century AND have half of their players in jail on DUI charges...
