Fantasy Football 2012: Season discussions and trash talk

I can't accept that offer. I'd feel bad for stealing such an elite player from you and only giving you a 2 time super bowl winner. Those concussions have improved his field vision to a level that is unmatched in the league right now. He's on the IR, but his mere presence on my roster would be worth 30 pts a week.

@Mossberg: Don't trade with Laimbeer. I'm in a basketball money league with him outside the forum. He tried offering me His James Harden for my Kobe Bryant. He must be crazy or think I will push the accept button. Then again, maybe I'm just obsessed with that...

@nemo: you dodged a couple of bullets there last night due to the Bills stupidity. I almost hoped They would lose the game because of that. But then I remembered I pick them in the picks game.

I fell just a couple of points short of yahoos prediction. So I'm going to say" point Nemo" for our first day. But will Lady Luck shine on you the rest of the week?

You're paranoid. I did tell him to set his lineup. That was weeks ago. And he messed it up. You did not Interpret it correctly. His lineups are set because nobody is on a bye. Those guys in the lineup were there for me last week too but they just did not play. I'm not worried about your team. My team is doing fine thank you!! :p

It's always nice to win so I would like to win every week. My team will be in the playoffs no matter what I do In the last three games. The byes do not help me lately anyhow. In fact, I do better without them. Lol. That being said, I would prefer taking my chances with the bye.

I just don't know if you have a playoff team though.

I know we all want to win the championships. The best team often does not win. Everyone has an off week once in a while. It's a shame when that happens.

In real life, players know They are in the playoffs. They may choke or raise the level of their game. So it is on them. But We don't have any control over that sort of thing in fantasy. Our guys may be on Cruise control or held out of games in real life. Their fantasy statistics are not a priority. But we all know the ups and downs of playing fantasy sports.

You'll make the playoffs..........but will you be competitive? or fizzle...

I will make the playoffs and do well or fizzle just like anyone else. You go in with the best team possible And hope the fantasy gods are kind to you. Going in with a good team increases your odds. It isn't Failproof.

I do know this. MY team is going to have a lot to say about Whether or not YOURS makes the playoffs. You cannot say the same thing. Well you could say it but it would be false.
