Well Bezer has got to be kicking himself.
he was up 10 pts with the Monday nite game waiting. With Atl's kicker going against 2 guys of mine
and I won by 10 pts.
Still looking up at Tates azzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tate you're so full of it. Why would you give up on a team that was hi-scoring but unlucky ?
Anyway congrats to the winners !
I took 3rd in my FoxSports Fantasy team too. very similar seasons, the front-runners faulterd at the end.

Took 5th place in this fantasy league.
Not good enough to earn a trophy.
Highlights were beating Bezeach...week 1 and Cowardly Lions in the playoffs............
Lowlight was losing to BillLaimbeer's team while my RB tandem got 2 points.
I purposely let Darth beat me as I rested starters that week. Only scored like fifty points that week...:)
Drew Brees definitely saved my sorry butt on many occasions.

True I'm frequently full of it, but 1-4 teams are usually toast in a 13 game season. Of course i always try to the end, but I figured no matter how well I did, I wasn't going 6-2 the rest of the season. As it was, I made it in by a hair.

We both had our lowest point totals of the season in that game, but i needed the win. You got in even with a loss.

Yeah, losing to Laimbeer has been downright humiliating over the years. But look on the bright side. You could have lost to Rascoe. :roflmao:

In retrospect, that was a bad trade after all, wasn't it? Oh well. I'm proud to say I opposed it.

In retrospect, almost all trades look bad for one of the teams.

It was a fun season. My team did what they were supposed to do. My guys scored a ton of points when they needed to, so I can't fault them for anything. My opponents picked on me a bit, by having sensational weeks against my team. Many of the weeks when I lost, I looked at the scoreboard and saw that my point total for the week would have beat at least 80% of the teams.

I guess that's just how it is sometimes. Congrats to the Champs, The Runner Ups! (that sounds weird. LOL)

The Cowardly Lions will be back!!!

Wife and I were watching the Saints QB have another stellar game this past week and she reminds me that he woulda got a bushel of points in the fantasy for his performance. I started taking note of some of my other stars and I got really depressed.......................here's what happened............

    Drew Brees - QB - 44.06 points
    Ryan Grant - RB - 18.80 points
    Michael Turner - RB - 29.20 points
    Marcus Colston - WR - 26.50 points
    Donald Driver - WR - 11.20 points
    Aaron Hernandez - TE - 22.40 points

That's a total of 152.13 points for 6 of my starters..........
Lance Moore didn't play that game due to an injury........
Not sure who else woulda played, but I think it wouldn't have mattered.

Kinda like seeing Matt Stafford get 52,00 points for Darth.............:) :) :)

    Summary 2011-----------
    QBs went 11 deep--from a high of 487 to 270 --
    RBs went 3 deep 298 to 262 with hi avg. [7@ ~218]
WRs went 1 deep 263 then 2 at 215 with hi avg. ~180
    TEs went 2 deep 241, 195 with avg. 125
K had highs of 192 then 3 in the 150 range
D had high avg of 174-158
    --------------------
    S0:
Best bet was QB til 12th pick then RB for 4-3 picks
then WR [1] TE [1] then back to RB after the top 2 TEs, 1 K at 192 then good Ds 174-160
    So with 5 QBs scoring 400 + points then a 70 drop to the 300+ point QBs[4]
It's quite possible the 1 pick could have 100 point lead going into the 3rd round-if he picked the correct RB.

Didn't know where to put this..............so I attached it to a BillLaimbeer post...............:)

Watched all of the NFL 2012 top 100. I was overall pleased with the final 5. Revis at #5, Brady at #4, Calvin at #3, Brees at #2, and Rodgers at #1........

I'll be picking Brees again with my 1st pick..................
