Ok...let's see...Oh, I know...tonight, when you go to pick up your penguin mate magazine, make sure you go to the draft room instead of the bath room.

Crap. I had family over tonight and completely forgot. By the time I remembered, the draft was just finishing.

It looks like I'll be in need of some pitching.

I think the Tate, LBeer and fam. mafia used us as a dummy team.

Drath had a good draft. It was almost like he knew what he was doing. Don't tell him I said that, though.

He did more than play the percentages. He has several categories in which he could dominate the entire league.

I'll beat him.........if my pitchers can throw to his hitters.

:roflmao: Rest assured, I'm not a part of any "gang" .

I will try my best to kick your butts, but it is much more important that the league is competitive. That way, everyone has fun and hopefully wants to join again next year. :bounce: Once again if you have any questions, please ask!!

Laimbeer can analyze your rosters much better than I could, but I think everyone drafted well. I do like my roster, but you can't use last years stats and I lost my crystal ball.

It seems that every year, pitchers go quicker in our league than in the mock drafts for some reason. Much sooner than the experts tell you to pick them. They go sooner and sooner every year. It's like a run on the bank.

You have 10 batters in your lineup contributing to 5 batting categories.

You have 8 pitchers in your lineup contributing to 5 pitching categories.

Doesn't this say that a good pitcher will have a more significant impact than a good hitter?

I'm not the type of person who asks a lot of questions. I like to learn on the go.
I'm really wondering how Ryan Braun will do this year as compared to last....
I like my team...considering it was a feeding frenzy for pitchers yesterday.
Verlander went like 4th..........yikes........I thought it was the Philly defense being drafted again. :)

I never looked at it like that, and wasn't sure what you meant at first. I guess your saying that each pitcher statistically has 20% more impact than each batter. But there are more batting slots to fill each week, so I don't see the logic in "overloading" or stocking pitchers.

The bottom line is that you are trying to win 5 categories on each, so it seems like you would want more batters? Sometimes i have more batters. Sometimes more pitchers. Whichever way the wind blows. Maybe I'm not following you?

I would have chosen Braun first if not for the steroid stuff. I think all of the distractions are going to affect him adversely so I decided to steer clear.
