By "she" I have to assume that you're referring to a trannie.

@ Drath: If I was in this league I'd have nothing to talk about.
Baseball puts me to sleep. Fun to play - tough to watch (until the playoffs anyway).

Running the Denver Squirrels is a year-round gig for me and Rufus.
We're in the Championship right now against linwood's Geoducks. If we win, we're not gonna be in any kind of shape to run a baseball club. We're gonna drink Cristal Champagne like water and eat enough mushrooms to make a pachyderm want to get his stomach pumped.
...If we lose, we'll substitute the Cristal for some cheap sparkling white wine. We still plan on shroomin' hard though. We're gettin' hookers off of CraigsList too!

Hopefully, your stats are equally impressive next week. :)

Great pitching today by my two starters.
    2 wins, 17 innings, 17 strikeouts, 0.45 WHIP, and 0.00 ERA........

    :dancingparty:

Batting average still ok, but runs scored and RBIs are being threatened.
Gotta hope Darth's lineup goes soft in the evening/night games.

If anyone wants to trade me some Blue Jay players, I'm all ears. Anyone not named Miguel Cabrera is available.

No starters going for Darth or I today...so hopefully I make some headway with Holds and Saves...
Tomorrow...I have Kershaw going for his 1st victory of the season, and Chris Sale against the Tigers.
Darth will offer Cole Hamels against the resurgent New York Mets, as he tries to regain his form.

I will be missing Berkman from the lineup this weekend...and also maybe Ellsbury will be sidelined.

Darth will feature a lineup of hitters who haven't
reached second base since their Senior Prom........:)
    c'mon Darth........that was funny.........:)
Still.........he could overtake me in several hitting categories this weekend............

I'm certainly not "rooting" for you by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm truly glad you're happy your team is doing well. But I have both good news and bad news for you.

    First the bad news:

Much of what your team is doing will most likely reveal itself to be fool's gold. Your pitching numbers are insane. But you won't have Kershaw and Cain pitching twice every week, nor will Kuroda and Cain pitch virtual no-hitters too many times. And as far as Gallardo...uhmmm...:der:

I'm used to folks showing up against me with what I like to refer to as "let'skickdarth'sarseandtake noprisonersandwhocaresifwesuckedtheweekbeforeplayinghimandsucktheweekafterplayinghimitis".

    Now the good news:

However, there IS good news. You get to play me again in 9 weeks! :)

    I sent you a counteroffer Jummer...well, it wasnt exactly a counteroffer...or an offer...not exactly...or even a proposal...No, it wasn't not THAT kind of proposal...or rather, I mean to say...

Well anyhow, I sent you something and attached a picture of Rascoe taken by a papparrazzi...or maybe it was taken at PoppaRomanos...or maybe it was both...or maybe it was taken at Buddy's for that matter...

Forget it. I'm all confused now.

Still leading Darth 9-3.......I'm concerned again today as 3 of my hitters will have another day off.
Darth made great strides yesterday as he almost overtook me in several hitting categories.
I'm saddened as my relief pitchers have been unable to gain more saves or holds this week.
I can only hope that Darth's hitters take today off and my team wins at least 9 points this week....
May Kershaw pitch well today and get his first victory with near perfect stats.
May Chris Sale pitch well also, but give up 3 HRs to my three hitters in his game. :)

Avila getting today off.........so 4 of 10 of my hitters will be off..........
That makes it open season for Darth's hitters today.......

My six against Darth's ten hitters today.........could be exciting. :)

Even more silly is Brandon Inge is serving as the DH for Boesch. That is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

It's a long season Bill. I'm enjoying the ride. I could finish 9-3 today or go 6-6.....or worse.......:cold:

I feel like I'm playing a whole hockey game today going 3 on 5.........scary.......

I think giving Boesch a day off is a good thing. Having one of the worst hitters in the history of this game serve as a designated hitter is absurd, though.

I'll never quibble with one of my guys getting a day off.
I do like to whine though when 5 of 10 are out of the lineup on any given day.

He let Inge play cause he hit like .383 against the White Sox last season.
However, he didn't have to face the mighty Chris Sale............
