Got offered a trade yesterday. Alerted me to a cool new trade evaluation feature Yahoo has put in place. Puts a season point-total differential on the trade based on available data.

Not that I'd have ever considered the trade but Yahoo's new evaluator had me at -8 and the offerer at +180 lol. I counter-offered with something giving him a +78 and me a +73.

Will be interesting to see if Yahoo installs the evaluator into fantasy NBA. Maybe it will help Ralphie cut down on the number of ridiculously lopsided trades he offers

Sometimes it is difficult to assess trades and worth based on sheer numbers.

That being said, yeah, the one you mentioned certainly sounds decidedly lopsided, lol.

    Hmmm...let me guess... :)

If the trade offer was from Junior, he probably tried to get a TE. Since he has none on his roster, adding a TE to fill an empty slot would add about +180 over the course of a season if the TE averaged about 10-11 points per week.

Not in a PPR league. There are 31 tight ends projected to score more than 90 points this season.

Your man, Jimmy Graham, is projected to earn 276.93 points this year.

Idiotic Yahoo said I would win two games all season. Guess who scored the most points this week with a whopping 242.5? And beat the team Yahoo awarded the best draft trophy to? And did I not beat them by over 110 points??? And didn't my opponent score the least points in the league? I guess now I will only win one more. .

This is what I've been saying about Yahoo congratulating the brilliant draftees who followed their advice closest.
    Screw you Yahoo!! Lol. :)

I didn't have much time, so just showed up to pick up a few players I liked and left the rest to Yahoo.

You've got to be kidding. :doener:

1.You don't even know who you played. ( which goes back to " you don't know what you're talking about"). You beat the Senior not Junior.

2.You scored the 2nd least points in the league just like last week. You've got no room to talk. Any other team would have beat you.(Which goes back to " you don't have a clue").

3.By the way, Junior would have beat you this week. Both would have beat you by almost 100 points last week. (Again, you don't know what you're talking about").

    4. Junior will destroy you when he plays you. ( he has a much better team than you do as he did last season. Check out the point total).

    5. YOUR team sucks!

    I.E. you got LUCKY.

Oh, and Yahoo predicted I would win two games all season. I'm 2-0 so I guess I won't be winning any more games this season. Bummer. No use setting my lineup, I guess. :hmmm:

You got lucky and broke your losing streak to me last year by beating me for your FIRST time ever, I do believe). Although I did start a new winning streak when we played our 2nd match in week 13 the leagues final week. And I DO believe that victory sent you fishing last year too. Guess what, we meet in the final week (13) again this season. May as well book your vacation early before the rates go up. :)

Perhaps you will eliminate him from the playoffs when you two meet during week #6.

Things I hate during a matchup in order:

    1. Losing

    2. My opponent having guys on a Monday, particularly when I don't or am outnumbered. (I was outnumbered 2-0 last week in a close match).

    3. I have guys playing on a Thursday. ( I have 3 Eagles playing Thursday, but that's ok IF they light up the scoreboard like they did last week). :) not only that but my opponent has a guy Monday).

    4. Benching a guy who goes off. ( but if it was a logical snub it hardly bothers me in the least. If it was a 50/50 it SUCKS!!

    Things I love:

    1.winning

    2. Doing that against someone I consider a rival.

    3. When I have more guys than my opponent on a Monday.
