It's not his fault. He was going against refs who have agendas against winning.
The "Amir Johnson effect".
Singler and mitchell almost did the same yesterday. Pre season Refs.
I blame Jim Leyland.

Of note. Middleton started for Milwaukee tonight. Won't say any more than that for the moment. But I will be following his career on League Pass. More to follow on the subject.
Brandon Knight suffered hammy in the first two minutes of the game in Milwaukee....hopefully he is not sidelined to long.
How'd he look? Very surprising that the 2nd man tossed in the trade starts the first game of the season.
I think it says something about how bad the Bucks are.
Antetokounmpoo scored a point it looks like. Already making an impact!
Former Pistons scrubs were in the starting lineups all over the league tonight.
As mentioned before Brandon Knight and Kris Middleton started for the Bucs.....Knight went down at the 10:15 mark of the first quarter with the hammy, but grabbed a rebound and had a TO. Middleton shot 1-4 in his 19 minutes of play with 2 pts no boards and 1 TO.
Afllalo and Max were in the starting line up for the Magic ...Alf scored 28 pts, grabbed 9 brds and had 5 dimes.....Max had 4 pts and no boards in 16 mins
Prince started for Memphis and had 9 pts and 2 boards and Amir Johnson started for the Raptors scoring 13 pts and grabbing 3 boards. Amir 's team was the only one to win.
Man, that's like an All-Star team of ex Pistons right there.
2 points, 1-for-4 shooting, 0 reb, 1 ast, 3 turnovers, 3 fouls, minus 2 in 19 minutes
It was announced a couple of weeks ago that he would be starting.
Interesting that we shed guys at every position that start. Finally we have an actual team where none of them could start with us.
I guess afflalo would probably still start for us after thinking that through a little more. But hopefully pope gets to his level in 2 years (ball handler and shooter with above average d).
Perhaps you also forgot about Sammy Mejia?
I'm thinking Pope gets there way earlier than 2 years.
He didn't start last night.
Afflalo averaged more points per game last year than anyone on the 2013 Pistons and had more WS than anyone except for Monroe, so it would be a pretty significant accomplishment for Pope in such a short time. It took Afflalo 5 years to really make the leap from occasional scorer to having the green light.
Even the 2010 Afflalo started 75 games and shot .434 from 3-point land and that was before he broke out.
Only because Ilyasova was still recovering from a severe ankle sprain. Ilyasova played so Middleton will go back to the bench very soon (but prob still avg 19 m/g).
Their starters when healthy will be Knight, Mayo, Butler, Ilyasova, Sanders
