    I can root for Sheed in LA.
    If he signed with Miami, I'd have some pretty heavy internal conflict.

    For whatever reason, I don't seem to look at Kobe as an "NBA Darling" anymore.

    To me........the NBA darlings have gotten much younger recently. Kobe seems to be destined to quietly end his career as a star........then maybe help a contender as his career winds down.

    It was more of a shot at the one web site (cnnse.com?) on the entire Intranets that have the story. The other web sites quote the cnnse.com story. I'm not seeing the story at espn, cnn, yahoo, nba, etc.

    I agree. I think it is CSNNE (Comcast Sports Net) which is like the other Fox Sports cable outlet that carries NBA games.

    You'd think he'd be back by now if it were true.
